I would have to expose who my brother is or the black guy who took over for him. I'm sure it's easy to find that women and minorities who are qualified to be VP's or CEO's are highly sought after. One company makes a woman the VP of their HR department. A year later another company has a head hunter call her and offer her twice as much to come work for them. These companies have to have a certain quota or lose their government business. Know what I mean? If you don't know this goes on, I don't know what to tell you.
But anyways, I was talking to a fellow liberal at work before anyone else got here this morning. Telling him while I see why AA and DEI are right, I also see why they are wrong. So let's not discuss why they are right because I won't disagree. Let's only talk about why they are wrong and should go away
1. Women and minorities don't like them, didn't show up to vote for them and hate it that people think they are DEI hires. So let's do away with it and then everyone will know they got there on merit.
2. It's not going away entirely. Corporations will still be socially responsible. But there are some cases, like fire and police, where it should not be implemented. And these are government jobs. So if you want government to be liberal then vote liberal. But you lost. And too many DEI voters didn't vote for Kamala.
This is another reason I'm all for equal pay for women and blacks. Because then them taking less than me won't cost me the job. I don't want it to be cheaper to hire a woman or minority. That hurts me, a white guy.
