The big problems for the Ds include:

SALT and state and local regulation are costing jobs big time in D states.

The new AG can get test cases outside of the 9th district to end sanctuary status and in some cases such as NJ can get state Criminal charges (NJ is the most recent case I know of where state catch and release resulted in a murder in another state Mo ). But there is no statute of limitations for any action that results in homicide. Once precedent is set most D states are in trouble.

The leftist rich are leaving or at least trying to leave the D fold.
