Not true. Steel reflects sunlight and therefore does not absorb as much as a black surface. There are also applications that enhance heat storing properties. Hey, it's cheaper than letting everyone in and then have to find shelter for them isn't it?

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said his administration will not approve solar or wind power projects, even as electricity demand is outpacing the supply in some parts of the U.S.
