The democratic party is far superior today than any version of the republican party. There is a wide range of stuff under the democratic tent that doesnt interest me... however.. the democrats fundamentally respect democracy and have workable ideas. Yes they have super aspirational stuff too but there is no contest between the fantasy conspiracy corrupt GOP and Democrats who just bite off a little more than they can chew.

Higher tax revenue to offset the rising debt. Their policies get that from the people who have money - wealthy and companies. Quibble about fairness and spending but the only way to lower the deficit is with revenue.

Increased personal freedoms so Americans can make their own decisions

More investment in infrastructure and less on military, theres no need to have an excess miliary protect a crumbling nation

More regulations to protect the working class since the nation is a record levels of profitability and productivity. None is being shared with workers. The one thing that will crumble the nation is continued exploitation of workers. Just make it fair.

Better community solutions for healthcare and retirement. A life of hard work deserve a respectful healthcare and retirement system. Today everyone is basically on their own with modest help in retirement and almost none in healthcare. Some but not much.
