At an Oval Office event on Monday, the US president will reportedly advise pregnant women in the US to take Tylenol, known as paracetamol elsewhere, only to relieve high fevers.

On Sunday, Trump said he had an "amazing" announcement coming on autism, adding that it was "out of control", but they might now have a reason why.

Some studies have shown a link between pregnant women taking Tylenol and autism, but these findings are inconsistent and inconclusive. Tylenol maker Kenvue has defended the use of the drug in pregnant women.

Whoo! Get the popcorn ready for this one!

I take Tylenol and my wife thinks I'm retarded.

Science you know. ;)

Does this mean Johnson and Johnson, and it's subsidiary, McNeil Consumer Health, did not come up with enough contributions to right wing Republican politicians?

They'll need to connect with the left to get the correct baseline contributions the Democrats have been using.

Could be some truth in what you say.

Really? So..... What's this?

Or this? What the research says about autism and Tylenol use during pregnancy

Or this! You get the idea.

You're trying to say that Trump made it all up aren't you?

You should read what you post. The first study clearly stated there was NO casual effect. The second study did NOT say anything for certain. It said further study is needed. All other studies could NOT find a link period.

Not one study cleared Tylenol. At best, further study is called for. In the meantime, pregnant women should not take Tylenol. Simple. I didn't take Tylenol. My doctor said not to take any OTC pain relievers.

Something has caused the autisim rate to skyrocket to 1 in every 31 children. That's astounding. Those kinds of numbers should absolutely NOT be ignored.

Most likely it's not Tylenol. Tylenol usage has decreased , it is the exact opposite of what would make it a suspect. I repeat , NO casual effect.

Tylenol is bad for you, and should only be taken during pregnancy, among other bad stuff to be avoided as a general principle.

You are also one of the people that believe progressive studies as soon as they are posted.

The question is it heightened diagnosis or an actual increase, or maybe a bit of both?
