Trump waives executive privilege for Bannon to testify

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot in both directions. Some are assuming he is. I just can't imagine the committee letting him do that. At LEAST they should interview him under oath before putting him in front of the camera so he can perjure himself. We know he wants to turn an open-and-shut case into a self-serving freak show.

They did say he would first testify in a closed session, which has been true of every witness that has testified.

Oh, I hadn't seen that. I still wouldn't put a camera anywhere near him, though
It's clearly an effort by Trump to get some pro Trump material injected into the hearing.

Which itself says something. They burned through his top, hand picked advisors and cabinet members, and even his family.

Yet nothing"pro steal" or "pro trump"came out of it.

So he has to turn to the ethical poverty of Stevie Bannon to try to eke out a shred of pro trumpiness.

Kind of like how he had to ignore the entire executive branch and his own family to pursue the big lie with Giuliani.

Not a coincidence.
