Trump Voted Tuesday In a Palm Beach Special Election.... Guess How He Voted?

My voters registration card never expires and as I said, you are saying you do indeed make me want to jump through additional hoops despite being registered since 1980.

All over the lies of a spoiled poor loser.
does it have a picture on it?....just show them your picture ID you might get farther...

Dumb hypocrites are like that - and Trump is both and most of his followers too. The ignorance of Trump fans astounds any American who loves freedom and democracy.

things are different now....use a picture ID.....

Nothing is different. I'll use my voters registration card but quit misrepresenting what you are trying to do.......make people jump through additional hoops to vote to appease a spoiled poor loser.

because your party is so much better for freedom and democracy...

The language of the Act sucks.

For example...

REAL ID's DON'T SHOW citizenship status. None of them do. Look at any state REAL ID drivers license. None show citizenship status, yet the law requires that it indicate citizenship status. All the REAL ID's would have to updated and reissued to comply with the law.

[EDIT/CORRECTION]]: I believe you pointed out that only 5 states currently issue REAL ID complian IDs that show citizenship. The vast majority do not.]

Here is another one...

#1 The military isn't going to give you your personnel jacket to walk out with to take to a voter reqistration location and return it later. The "normal" record of military service is the DD-214.

#2 However the DD-214 is only generated at end of an enlistment (enlisted) or end of commission (officer), so if you are a first term'er you don't have a DD-214 to show.

#3 It requires the DD-214 show show the place of birth as the United States, however DD-214's don't show place of birth, they show date of birth and location of initial entry, but not place of birth. (Now the DD-214 could be updated for future seperations, but all of us that got one in the past wouldn't have a qualifying DD-214.)

#4 It limits the applicablity of military ID and record of service only to those born in the United States. So if my US citizen children had been born in Japan while my wife and I were stationed there instead of Guam, their place of birth would be Japan. Even if they presented military documentation, they wouldn't be able to register to vote because Japan isn't in the United States.

#5 Paragraph 5 under Documentary Proof allows for the presentation of a valid Federal, State or Trible ID (which doesn't show place of birth) if one or more other document that does show place of birth is also provided. However, and here is the kicker - the law states that this is allowed for ID NOT listed in items 1-4. Items 1-4 were REAL ID, Passport, Military ID and military record showing place of birth, and Federal ID showing place of birth.
  • Why is #5 important, because paragraph 5D under the proof of citizenship section allows for presenting a Consular Report of Birth Abroad. But since Military ID is one of 1-4 and 5D specifically ExCLUDES items 1-4 for use in conjunction with a Consular Report of Birth Abroad with a Military ID.
  • So for Military ID (which doesn't indicated place of birth), members will often not have a DD-214 and the DD-214 doesn't show place of birth AND if you show a military ID you can't use a Consular Report along with a military ID anyway.

Brilliant.
