Trump to sign executive order to cut prices of medicine to match other countries

Prices aren't set by EO's. If anyone is actually serious about addressing an issue they would put in the work to actually pass a law addressing it.

If you simply want headlines you sign an EO.

Figure my costs out. I have 8 drugs due to type 2 diabetes plus per my doctor medicine to ensure my heart keep ticking. Also for kidneys one drug. So 8 drugs for 3 months and now my cost is $12.15, thanks to Trump. What rank did you have in what branch? I am VA too but no medical benefits thanks to my time was peace time.
infantry and then jag corps

Now if this actually happens I am 100% behind it.

I seriously doubt it will though. He wouldn't do that to his pharma bros.

Hell, they're probably blowing up his phone right now.

Do you have any evidence that pharma are Trump's bros?

Since you cannot define 'fascist' it would be a Yuge(sic) waste of my time.

Give me your definition of 'fascism' and we can go from there.

Go>>>>>>>
You’re the one who used the word in your meme.

So you define it and point out how President Trump is “fascist”.

Mussolini defined it as “corporatism”, when the government colluded with corporations to exert their power where the government can’t by force.
The term is now thrown around for any kind of authoritarianism, and lefties like to use it for anything “right wing”.

Either way you won’t be able to demonstrate any actual authoritarianism. You already know this of course, which is why you are trying to weasel your way out of providing specific examples of “fascist” policies from President Trump.

I can provide clear examples of how the Democrats are actual fascists. How they collude with corporations to impose their authoritarian inclinations on their political enemies.
For example, Biden declaring the COVID vaccine mandate in order for people to keep their jobs. Many corporations went along with this, despite the fact that the government had no authority to tell the private sector to take these actions. But many corporations did force people to get the clot shot to keep their jobs. Others such as restaurants demanded proof of vaccination to even eat at their establishments.

Another example is when the Biden Regime sent FBI agents to social media companies to dictate to them to ban people and shutdown accounts, to censor anything they didn’t like, and the social media companies were happy to do their bidding.

Now that I showed you leftist fascism in practice with actual policies Democrats implemented, can you show me any of Trump’s policies being “fascist”?

Along with Tommy's issue he raised on health care demands, Trump is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Throw in his cooperation with Putin and that's starting to become some serious problem issues for him.

Is this a reawakening trend by Americans that's starting?

A court f law is never going to 'get'' Trump, but a decline in popularity just might.

That was Hitler's weak suit, and ditto for other leaders like him.

That does not sound like rank to me. I get your message, you apparently want your rank to be top secret. When I was the Company Clerk of a battalion HQ I worked with both groups.
That would be interesting. In Article 32 hearings, work with the First Shirt who wanted some of his 'darlings' gone could be an effort.

The quick and easy way to define fascist is to define Trump's agenda.

For anybody who dares disagree, see the definition of 'fascist' at any site that deals with the question.

You will find that their definition defines Trump!

When I was in the Army John, probably to you it was at the end of the Civil war. Nope, I served from January 62 to January 64. I was very fortunate in my time. I was appointed by the CO of the training unit to serve the company as a acting platoon Sgt. To get appointed to the leadership academy. To also serve as another Acting platoon Sgt at AIT. And in Germany the HQ company was not where I was assigned, but the HQ 1st Sgt decided not to have me in a line company but kept me in HQ company where things worked out very well. For a person like me who did not want to be in the Army at all, I was blessed over and over.

Sounds like you were the ratchet man, the go-to guy that could get things done. A great position to have.

Did you get along OK with the other ranks?

It needs signed into law, like in the UK to control prices.

The US needs to catch up.

My bad, this is expected to raise the prices worldwide.

It's a gift to the pharma companies.

It ends the long-term gift to foreign nations who have not paid their fair share of R&D costs which have been borne by Americans.

You were write the first time and now Trump has signed it.

In other words, the US consumer will stop subsidizing pharmaceuticals around the world. These countries with nationalized healthcare will be for a rude awakening when they have to start paying their fair share. Oh well.

The term 'Fascist' doesn't need to be derogatory to Americans. It can be very efficient in getting things done.

But along with that, it's essential to stop pretending America is still democratic. Both democracy and capitalism are inefficient in challenging socialism that's being adopted by the world's greatest superpowers.

It's the reason why democracy must be curtailed in times of war. Subversive speech must be immediately curtailed. Just as we see happening now.

You guys have your cartoons and yet there is little reason for it. That lady represents the calmness of Republican voters as compared of the caricature of the so-called Trump supporter which in reality is the nature of a Progressive Socialist Communist. Propaganda. And that is an example of Communism and Fascism that you adhere to.

This only affects Medicare and only with a few drugs

I was discussing this recently when my sons friend came to visit. I did tell them that as a leader, I was there to improve the performance and not to act like an ass to the men. My platoon in Basic came in number 1 in the company. I credit that with them assigning me to the leadership academy at Monterey, CA. At HQ and HQ the XO got his commision in College. He was a poor leader. The Company Commander was a great leader. The XO at times harassed me. I took some of his Article 15s and filed them. When the Commanding officer got back from leave, I took them to show him how the XO ran all over the troops and dealt out very harsh punishments. The CO ensured I was not in trouble and he agreed the punishments were too radical. For instance, I recall this Sp5 who had more than 15 years in service. He got back at night moments too late and the guards called the company I was in. The XO gave him an Article 15 and reduced his rank and pay as punishment plus forced him to mop floors and things like that. For moments too late? This was dealt with by the XO totally wrong.

1.

  • Trump often used language that emphasized personal loyalty over institutional integrity (e.g., “I alone can fix it”).
  • He regularly attacked the legitimacy of the press (“enemy of the people”), a hallmark of authoritarian regimes.
  • His praise for strongmen like Putin, ErdoÄźan, and Kim Jong-un furthered perceptions of authoritarian sympathies.

2.

  • Repeatedly undermined the judiciary, intelligence agencies, and the legitimacy of elections.
  • Pressured state officials to overturn election results (e.g., Georgia 2020).
  • Refused to commit to peaceful transfer of power before the 2020 election.

3.

  • His rhetoric leading up to and during the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot was widely seen as encouraging an attack on democratic processes.
  • Downplayed or ignored right-wing extremist violence (e.g., failure to condemn white supremacists unequivocally).

4.

  • “America First” policies mirrored exclusionary nationalism.
  • Muslim travel ban and family separation at the border reflected a punitive and racialized approach to immigration.
  • Framed immigrants as criminals or invaders, which parallels fascist scapegoating of minority groups.

5.

  • Attempted to use the Justice Department to target political enemies.
  • Issued controversial pardons to allies (e.g., Roger Stone, Michael Flynn) that seemed aimed at rewarding loyalty rather than justice.
  • Sought to deploy federal forces against domestic protests in ways seen as overreach (e.g., Portland 2020).

6.

  • Repeated lies or distortions, especially regarding the 2020 election, COVID-19, and crime statistics.
  • Promoted conspiracy theories and created a narrative of victimization and betrayal.
  • Encouraged alternate information ecosystems (e.g., Fox News, Truth Social) where he controlled the message.
