All local, state and federal laws do that.

The current administration is ignoring all of those laws, and outright breaking others.

Enforce the existing laws and there is no problem.

That’s simply not true. Our laws have no teeth, the appeals process trumps our laws.
Trump had both chambers for his first two years in office, he made almost no headway with regard to arrests and deportations, ofcourse he got even less done his second two years. Had it not been for the scamdemic he wouldn’t have been able to implement remain in Mexico.
My point; Republicans may only get another four year stab at it before Democrats recruit another 10-20 milion….there’s no way in hell anything gets done following the road to nowhere that is through the bureaucracy.
