Trump suspends dividends and stock buybacks of defense companies.

The money goes into the wages of workers. The money will be used to increase production that will create more jobs

I wonder how many retired people will be fucked over by this ending of dividends.

Oh well, who cares.

1. He can't simply wave his arms and say "let it be done".

2. He has learned that all he has to do is say he is going to do something.

3. It's sad how many will jump to his defense, showing that they have absolutely no principles outside of the worship of the orange one.

They say they're conservatives, they say they're capitalists, they say they're constitutionalists.

They have no goddamn idea what those words actually mean. They should be insulted, and they're not.

My takeaway is some folks at the decision making executive levels are gouging contract revenue for themselves and not reinvesting in their respective companies / industries.

Instead of billions of dollars going to executives or dividends, maybe use that money to update your industry and make stuff quicker.

It's sort of leftist on it's face but defense industries that depend on taxpayer dollars/.gov contracts should be held to more stringent standards.

This is economic authoritarianism.

It would not be the first time the .gov stepped in to increase arms production.

The War Dept. stepped in when S&W was not producing enough M1917 revolvers for the needs of the military.

They made them cut unnecessary things to increase production and lowered the cost per unit at the same time.

Anything else irrelevant you want to add?

None of which I discussed.

I doubt Trump has the authority to tell defense contractors what they can pay their investors.

Any attempt to limit profits and its distribution would have to be detailed in defense contracts. Then the contractor can decide whether the item is worth bidding on
A contract is an agreement between the government and co tractor.
Trump can’t arbitrarily change the terms

Discuss it but what you did was deflect because you can't actually address what others say.

They could, not with a wave of the arm though.
It was a perfect example of how the .gov can step in to increase production. It's not the only time they did it either....B-29 production was another example.

They did wave an arm (whatever the **** that means) though.

It is time to use equal force with you.

I discussed your hypocritical socialist agenda.
