President Trump tried a new tariff strategy, but it still landed in court

After the Supreme Court struck down Trump’s tariffs, the White House imposed new tariffs using a different avenue. And those have now ended up in court, too.

Trump just wont give it up, either because he is too stubborn or because he does not have the mental acuity to understand what happened. The SCOTUS ruled that his "tariffs" were nothing more than taxes on the American people, and he does not have the authority in the Constitution (Article 1, Section 8) to levy taxes. Case closed, end of story.

But, Trump just can't stand to lose his argument that tariffs on imports are actually paid by the exporting country. Either he's a liar, or the Wharton Business School should shut down for not educating its students! BTW Trump, you should be concentrating on shutting down the mid-terms, not losing arguments on taxes!

Maybe Trump is relying on the ignorance of most people regarding tariffs. I don't believe for a minute that he doesn't understand who pays the tariffs.
