As many foreign policy experts have already pointed out, the combat/war goals of Israel, and the goals of the US are entirely different.

. . . however, Trump is not acting in the interests of America or the American people.

Israel's goal is to balkanize Iran, and make it a failed state like they had the US and its western allies do to Syria, Iraq, Libya, etc.
Israel has desired to be the regional hegemonic power since they succeeded in establishing their state.

Once this war started, what really shocked me was forum members and Israel telegraphing that our NATO ally Turkey seems to be next on the list.



The US's strategic interests are only regional security for Israel and our gulf state allies, the GCC.

It is clear to any sober observer, the reason Trump was fuzzy on, and is still unclear about the aims and reasons for this war, is mostly because he is making an attempt to serve two masters. . . the folks that hold all the dirt on him from Epstein, and the American people.

He seems to be doing a miserable job of serving either.

Yes, right now. They have won control of the Straight of Hormuz, unchallenged in determining which ships can pass. The ones who do now pay a $2M toll for each ship, bringing in 10s of millions of dollars they weren't getting before. And they are paying in Chinese Yuan, which is weakening the PetroDollar. It amounts to Iran devaluing the dollar in international transactions, which could start other countries using the Yuan. What's the Republican answer to that?

And what have we won, besides $4.19 a gallon gas, and maybe catastrophic crop failures because the time-based, desperately needed fertilizer is stuck in the Straight. Our farmers need it for planting season - NOW - and can't get it. Corn will be most vulnerable, and needs the most fertilizer. What happens to Ethanol and gas prices when there is a corn crop failure?
