... but that in no way reconciles the logical inconsistency that if killing is wrong, you can't punish killing by killing. .....
The logical fallacy here is your attempting to insist upon a false premise. It is the taking of innocent life that is wrong.

The cruelty is astounding! This is unprecedented! Even now that he is on his way out of office, he is trying to prove that he is a tough law and order guy. His motives are the same here as his motive in pushing voter fraud: To gin up his base and solidify support for a 2024 run for president for himself or one of his grifter kids, and to garner support for far right state and federal candidates in the meantime. But ulike his bleating about voter fraud, he is literally sacrificing human life. Wasn't he supposed to be pro life?

. Trump set to execute more inmates than any other president - with more due before Biden takes office

Trump set to execute more inmates than any other president - with more due before Biden takes office

Donald Trump is set to become the only president in history to carry out federal executions during the ‘lame duck’ period

Three death row prisoners are to be executed by the federal government in the window of time before Joe Biden takes office, as Donald Trump continues his unprecedented and enthusiastic embrace of capital punishment.

Mr Trump ordered in July 2019 ordered a resumption of federal executions and this year, on 14 July, the first prisoner was put to death, ending a 17 year hiatus.

His administration has executed seven people so far this year, and expects to execute three more before Christmas - meaning that he will have put more people to death in a single year than any other president.
The worst example of his cruelty and lack of compassion is this: A mentally ill woman who was abused and a victim of sexual trafficking
There's no evidence of that. And she's known to be compulsive liar. After all, she did lie to everyone she knew when she told them she was pregnant.

She faked a pregnancy for months, then strangled a pregnant girl until she was unconscious, started cutting her baby out of her womb, causing her to regain consciousness and start fighting for her and her baby's lives. Then strangled her to death and stole her baby. That is cruelty and a lack of compassion.

She's a fucking monster.

That was in 2004. She should have been executed a long time ago.

Facepalm.

Look Leftard. . .

Innocent children are worthy of Constitutional protections. . .

CONVICTED CRIMINALS were also afforded the SAME protections. . . all the way up to and BEYOND the point where they were CONVICTED.

The CONSTITUTION (5th Amendment) allows for the government to DEPRIVE a convicted FELON of the rights that THEY are CONVICTED of abusing. Learn the difference between the words "deprive" and "deny."

Simply put, "Pro-Life = Pro INNOCENT Life" and NOT "pro-life for those who MURDER INNOCENTS"

Tū quoque , or the appeal to hypocrisy, is an informal fallacy that intends to discredit the opponent's argument by attacking the opponent's own personal behavior as being inconsistent with the argument's conclusion(s). The Oxford English Dictionary cites John Cooke's 1614 stage play The Cittie Gallant as the earliest use of the term in the English language.
Fuctard, go back to school. Try to learn and appreciate the fact that a FACTUAL pointing to an example of hypocrisy is NOT tantamount to a FALLACIOUS discredit.

There are REAL fucking HYPOCRITES in the world and you are ONE of them. Pro-Life (anti-abortion) is about protecting the INNOCENT lives of children. It is NOT about protecting the lives of CONVICTED KILLERS at any cost.
Got it. So it is not "pro-life", it is pro-lives of lives that have not yet crossed your line of morality. You don't have a problem with killing, as long as the correct people are people killed. Killing is not wrong, it is just wrong to kill the people you don't believe should be killed.
Pro INNOCENT lives is something we should have in common.

Are YOU "Pro-INNOCENT-Life?"
Most certainly, I am against abortion, and unlike most of the vocal "pro-life" movement, I have actually taken real action to intervene and prevent them. But I am also against capital punishment. It is the morally consistent position. I am opposed to killing, you are not. You have no claim to a moral high ground.
Absolutely RIGHT!

I lay NO claim to any fucking MORAL high ground!

I lay claim to an ADHERENCE to what the Constitution says.

After all, we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC and we (The United States) are NOT a theocracy.

So what about those they killed? I guess that doesn’t matter their already dead. Lack of compassion, where’s the compassion for the innocent lives they took, how about their children and loved ones? Are you for real? What a freaking hypocrite.
Ask your self...

Will killing them bring back the dead?
Do the survivors of the victims really want this? Many do not.
Would those survivors achieve closure faster if these people were just put away for ever and forgotten vs. decades of appeals and emotional turmoil waiting for justice?
Does it deter violent crime?
Most importantly, Do we as a society have the right to kill? Does it just add to the sum total of violence in society and make those who support state murder no better than the perpetrators?
Oh yes , there is racial and economic disparity in the application of the death penalty, not to mention the fact that many sentenced to death have been exonerated.
Yes we do have that right to extinguish those that have extinguished others. Our judicial system and appellate system of justice is designed to protect the innocent, is it perfect no, simply the best we have. I also believe if a police officer or attorney manufactures or withholds evidence they should be prosecuted, if found guilty incarcerated, furthermore, if the person was executed those responsible for falsified evidence executed as well. If a person uses a gun or weapon in the commission of a crime it should be punishable by death.
We can agree to disagree.

You are the one who needs to go back to school. Clearly you do not comprehend the concept of logical fallacies. The point is that your calling me a hypocrite for supporting reproductive choice in no way helps your argument in support of the death penalty. They are separate issues. You invoke this abortion crap in order to deflect from the fact that you really do not have an argument to support your position on the topic at hand. That makes it a Red Herring fallacy as well as an appeal to hypocrisy.

The Constitution speaks about cruel and unusual punishment
5th Amendment: "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

8th Amendment: "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

That you think the 8th Amendment (which was PASSED on the same fucking day that the 5th Amendment passed) effectively repeals the 5th Amendment; That is even more evidence to support my observation about your fucking lack of an ability to actually COMPREHEND anything that you fucking read.

Better than turning them loose like you goofballs would do. Don't you think these thugs earned their way to their ultimate demise with the laws they broke??
Who the fuck is talking about turning them loose?
Better than turning them loose like you goofballs would do.
And have done. I know that here, in California, our piece-of-shit governor had thousands of dangerous criminals released prematurely, somehow citing the #CoronaHoax2020 as an excuse for doing so.
ts.

There is nothing bad or wrong with carrying out duly authorized court orders.
Gruesome Newsom was letting dangerous prisoners out of prison long before the hoax virus. He was letting them out because corrupt and white hating judges were ordering dangerous prisoners out of prison because of overcrowding.

First off your last point means you think Obama/Biden were viciously cruel for allowing the sexual trafficking to exist that you find sympathy for the victim over. Bad Biden, bad bad Biden.
Trump's administration found over 80 missing children recently and hundreds of sex trafficked adults who were victims of an Obama/Biden liberal policies that contributed to the allowance and support for sex and drug trafficking.
Bad Biden verly verly bad person that Biden is ;says Bahbu.

It seems to me that it is the one who would defend the killing of the most innocent and defenseless of all human beings, while opposing putting down hardened subhuman pieces of criminal shit, who have some explaining to do.

The point is that your calling me a hypocrite for supporting reproductive choice in no way helps your argument in support of the death penalty.
What you call “reproductive choice” is nothing less than the cold-blooded murder of innocent children who have done nothing wrong, and are given no opportunity to defend themselves.

It certainly is hypocritical, in the extreme, to defend that monstrous evil, and at the same time, to oppose putting down the very worst subhuman criminal pieces of shit.

But then, you have made it very, very clear, that you are no friend of children, and never have been.

She suffers from bi polar disorder with psychotic features . The abuse and exploitation that she suffered triggered her genetic predisposition to manic and psychotic behavior. Did you actually miss all of that?
No sane person gives a fuck about that. She's a subhuman monster, who committed a particularly egregious act of torture and murder. She forfeited her humanity a long time ago, and ought to have been put to death, long time ago.

It is no surprise, of course, that another subhuman piece of shit such as yourself would take her side, against that of actual human beings. It's just what you do. It's what you are.
