Trump visibly distressed over Atlantic story fallout
President Donald Trump was visibly distressed this weekend over the fallout that ensued from the story published in The Atlantic alleging that he privately disparaged the war dead.

And, it's a crisis of his own making. Trump has a long history of disparaging the military, going back to his serial draft dodger days, beating up on John McCain, saying he is "smarter than the generals," among many others. So, while we don't have the names of Trump's accusers, we do know, in fact common sense tells us, that hateful comments about our war heroes is exactly the sort of thing that he would do. It is typical Trump.
So, what goes 'round, comes 'round, and while Trump probably enjoyed making those comments, now he has to pay the piper. It may or may not put his re-election in jeopardy if he loses support of our military, active and retired. But, he still has Russia behind him, and that's a big plus.
