The Triumphal Arch' monument is a proposed structure in Washington, D.C., modeled after Paris' Arc de Triomphe. It is set to commemorate America's 250th anniversary and is expected to be a centerpiece of the White House's plans for the celebration. The arch will be located near the Lincoln Memorial and serve as a gateway to Washington. The construction is expected to begin in the next two months, with a total cost estimated at around $100 million. The project is being funded privately, with funds from the new White House ballroom project.

Looks like he's getting a two-fer with the donated ballroom money.

President Donald Trump revealed Wednesday how soon an Arc de Triomphe-style monument will be constructed in the nation's capital to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.

Trump on Wednesday said the construction of the monument, nicknamed the "Arc de Trump," will begin "sometime in the next two months," according to a report from Politico.

Well this is sure gonna send the TDS crowd into a tizzy.

Just waiting for them to compare it to the Brandenburg Gate.
;)

Arc de Trumpeth.

This could end up being pretty cool, we will have to wait until after his death to remove any inscription on the arch that has his name on it.

Looks like it’s just Paris’ Arc de Triomphe with some random angel statue on it.

What military triumph exactly is it commemorating?

Read the OP

eh, I still feel a triumphal arch should symbolize a military victory. And one that occurred during the leadership of the leader building it. But whatever.

Still say it looks like a model of the Arc de Triomphe with an angel glued on top

Washington Arch in Washington Square in NYC. Often referred to as the Washington Square Arch.

Plans were posted on the Whitehouse. Gov. Here they are:

If it weren’t for the tacky golden angel on top, it might actually be a tasteful addition to DC’s neoclassical architecture

Build or get them to donate to reduce the national debt?

He is telling you the imperialism like Rome that we are. And you drew up the blueprints for that.

To be fair, most of the big name architecture in Washington is classical Greco-Roman style. That’s the established vibe
