Trump Doesn’t Want to Talk About Affordability. Democrats Say That’s a Gift.

Mr. Trump didn’t mention the word “affordability” until 18 minutes into his often-meandering address Tuesday in rural Pennsylvania. He used the bulk of the 90 minutes to reprise his profane attacks on immigrants and his political foes and blame former President Joseph R. Biden Jr. for saddling him with rising inflation.

And when he did raise the cost of living, he waved away the idea that Americans were struggling.

“Our prices are coming down tremendously,” said Mr. Trump, even though government data shows that inflation in September was close to 3 percent, about the same as it was at the end of the Biden administration.

Point out all the fees and taxes found in blue States and Cities added to gasoline, diesel, electricity, natural gas and other things that add to the costs of everything else, as well as their war on affordable cars, appliances, and energy production, and Dems will get away from their "affordability" crusade really really quick.

If someone can believe women can have penises, and more importantly, demand others believe it, then they can believe and demand anything.
I think this is the wrong thread for you. Try starting a "obsessed with dicks" thread in badlands.

I put it in the D column. It would have been an F but the price of eggs is down and gas is slightly lower lately. But my trips to the grocery store tell a grim tale. I also sell welding supplies and can tell you outright that the tariffs are beating the hell out of my local, blue collar welders.

But I don't blame it all on Trumpberg. Bidenomics kicked our ass. It took Pedo Joe 4 years to "f" up our economy so it will take a good while to recover from it. But I'm not sure that Trumpblatt is going about it the right way. I guess time will tell if Trumpanyahu can "save the day."

I dont think there is any information I would give you that would cause you to pull your head out of a fat orange mans ass. But here you go: Record oil output realized under Biden

Piss off home Dem troll waste of human skin.
Sorry. Didnt mean to trigger your ass.

His metrics are absolutely better than Bidens. :cuckoo:
Not 2024. We had lower inflation, lower unemployment, higher GDP, fewer people with multiple jobs, higher consumer spending, higher consumer confidence, and record stock market highs. What metrics are better now?

You're making shit up

Trump described the Economy to Politico as A+++++ meanwhile recent polls show 3% of people think the economy is great and Politico's own poll paints a grim picture of the economy from Americans.

Trump has convinced some people up is down, and down is up, but I suspect even he can't convince broke ass Americans they are suddenly doing great because he says so in front of the construction of a gaudy ball room.

What say you? How is the economy doing?

President Donald Trump on Tuesday credited himself with overcoming the economic "disaster" left by his predecessor and gave his economy an “A+++++” rating, but the experiences of most Americans paint a far gloomier picture of financial conditions in 2025.

you mean just like the last Admin? Can you name the last Admin who said the economy sucks under my watch.... ?? Trump is clearly wrong IMO but I also think it's on the board that he actually believes that the economy is good.

For instance?
Lets start with grocery prices, which are down from the disastrous Biden era. Do you disagree? Prove that im wrong. Show me the price comparisons, and dont pick out one product that may or may not be up. Show us that grocery prices as a whole are higher now.

Once we cover grocery prices, we can then move on to shipping costs, fuel prices, etc.

Odd that you make vague claims with no links

Grocery prices are not down. Your claim your proof

If you look at the data, the increase during Trump's admin was far more impressive.
Wrong.

Trump's first month in office 9 million barrels a day were produced
Trump's last month in office 11 million barrels a day were produced
2 million barrels a day were added under Trump

Biden's first month in office 11 million barrels a day were produced
Biden's last month in office 13 million barrels a day were produced
2 million barrels a day were added under Biden
