...Well, now would not be too soon to share that proof The fact of the matter is that he could "put this stuff to bed" (I know, bad turn of phase given the situation) and get back to national issues rather than having to daily defend his character. For some reason -- one being he has no such proof -- the man prefers to persist with talking about whether the did or did not misconduct himself with various women over the past 30 years. That strategy is almost entirely ineffective; few people, women in particular, are going to blame Hillary Clinton for her husband's transgressions.
Some may say, well it's just these women's word against Trump's. Yes, it is. Thus far, neither they have not produced anything that has been shared publicly and that corroborates their story. We do, however, have incontrovertible evidence that Trump has bragged about doing exactly what these women have described. Moreover, we have ample records of Trump living and behaving as a flamboyantly rich "playboy." It's thus far easier to conceive that he would have behaved as he's bragged and as these women have claimed.
Could the women be fabricating their stories? They could, but what have they to gain by doing so? Think for a moment about the other folks over the years who've been found to have been perpetrators of hoaxes. Where are they now? They reside in ignominy. There simply is nothing good to come to these women who've shared their stories of mistreatment at Trump's hands.
Be all that as it may, the fact of the matter is that for as long as the cloud of infamy and debauched character hangs over Trump's head, none of his other messages and ideas about governance and public policy matter. The man will continue, as most polls now show, to be seen as unfit to be President. Why let that palor remain? Doing that, rather than offering resounding proof that the claims cannot be and are not true is what makes sense, yet that's not what Trump is doing.
