Other countries tariffs American auto imports into their countries, and they seem to be doing fine. American autos are not popular in the rest of the world, mostly for unrelated reasons, but still, our cars are tariffed in other countries and they seem to be doing just fine.

Meh. They obviously would sell even better if more competitively priced.

You realize that even "American Made Cars" have many foreign parts and therefore will be affected by the Tariffs. Right?

Build it here, and it's not tariffed. Use US steel, and that's not tariffed. Import parts, and yep, they are. make the foreign cars here, and they aren't tariffed.

On a pure mathematics basis, increased demand would lead to increased price. As importantly, the North American auto market is very regionally integrated, which means foreign parts will cost more. Higher steel / aluminum tariffs will lead to higher costs for manufacture of domestic parts and vehicles.
