The other is an IDF soldier killed in Gaza in 2014, whose body has been held by Hamas since then.

“The fastest way to end the Humanitarian Crises in Gaza is for Hamas to SURRENDER AND RELEASE THE HOSTAGES!!!” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

The comments marked a change in tone compared to those he made earlier this week, when he said that Israel could do more to bring food into Gaza and that he was not convinced by Jerusalem’s claims that there was no starvation in the Strip.

In other words, last week Trump and Netanyahu seemed to disagree on the extent of the difficulties in Gaza, but they clearly agree on the solution: the end of Hamas.

Well, Hamas was given a free pass to an arab nation in exchange for the lives of the hostages. Think about that, a get out of jail free card but in this case a promise from Israel not to pursue or kill them and they STILL refuse to surrender.

I am never going to support the suffering of innocent people be it via a missile or circumstances surrounding the war. However, Hamas should not be rewarded for refusing to be dignified humans at any stage in this unnecessary war.

There comes a point where a man chooses the light or the darkness, good or evil, G-d or the devil. Hamas has never once chosen the light since Oct 7th. Both sides have many regrets but at least Israel is trying to protect lives and give them the opportunity to surrender with their lives intact.

This is an offer you can be sure wouldn't be reciprocated if the shoe were on the other foot. I just hope this war ends soon as there are no winners in war, ever.
