Trump said he wants DACA recipients to be able to stay in the country

I know that. But that was back when the only real secure communications we had was snail mail.

Right now the census can be updated periodically thru the year. If the Homeland Security Department wants.....they can do one every year or every six months to keep tabs on illegals moving around the country. The only thing standing in the way is the "NO I.D." states.

Besides......the last census wasn't accurate. Too many states refused to cooperate with purging deceased residents before the 2020 census. There's also a problem with homelessness. People are moving more often than they used to. People are leaving NY, CA, OR, and WA in droves.

No idea where you get this idea from and I really don't much care to know.

Which is exactly why you don't know. You don't care to find out. A simple audit of the last census could be pretty revealing, don't you think?

BTW, blacks can work complex machines like computers, and they can fill out a form in 15mins online. And every one of them can get proper I.D.

However, a bunch of these newcomers don't know enough English to fill out a form, so they'd better start learning it.

but where do Trump's hardcore supporters stand on this issue?
What are we giving up?

A green card with permanent residency is as far as I will go

No pathway to citizenship

Ever

What happens to family members of DACAs that brought them here?

They should be deported

And what do we get in return for a concession on DACAs?

Marmalade.
If Trump declares a national emergency because of these 10 million new illegals, he can direct another census.

They are considered part of a humanitarian crisis created by drug cartels and the Biden Adm.

The Dreamers are the least of his worries.

MAGA has been pretty straight forward about wanting illegals deported and many have made no exception for the so-called DACA immigrants. Trump wants them to be able to stay.

"I will work with the Democrats on a plan. And if we can come up with a plan, but the Democrats have made it very, very difficult to do anything. Republicans are very open to the dreamers. The dreamers, we're talking many years ago, they were brought into this country," the president-elect told host Kristen Welker. "Many years ago. Some of them are no longer young people. And in many cases, they've become successful. They have great jobs. In some cases, they have small businesses. Some cases they might have large businesses. And we're going to have to do something with them."

Welker then asked, "You want them to be able to stay. That's what you're saying?"

Trump replied, "I do. I want to be able to work something out."

I'm fine with this plan. I've made the same argument for years, but where do Trump's hardcore supporters stand on this issue?

I believe we should COMBINE a path to citizenship for DACA individuals with revoking birthright citizenship for illegal aliens going forward.

That won't be up to politicians but rather the Supreme Court.

Personally, I would load them into giant slingshots aimed into the sea. How close can we get to wherever they come from.

How did they get jobs, open businesses, anything without identification?

I understand Trump wanting to compromise with democrats. I would not.

Trumps main focus is securing the border and deporting violent non citizens and gangs .. there will be no round up of families that aren't committing crimes like the left claims .. also there will not be a 14 million foreign invasion like the last 4 yrs ..

Why? Obama created DACA with an EO.

I already noted that the court already denied that to Trump.

Then birthright has already been ruled on by the court also and will have to go through the court before anything can be done. It's a Constitutional issue.
