Good! The statute seems to give him this authority.

More importantly, the Federal Reserve is part of which branch? It certainly isn't its own branch, as the Constitution has not been amended.

Here we go! Fasten your seatbelts.

President Donald Trump ousted Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook on Monday, alleging she lied on mortgage forms by declaring two primary residences.

In a letter to Cook, Trump said the Federal Reserve Act provides that she can be removed at his discretion.

"As set forth in the Criminal Referral dated August 15, 2025, from Mr. William J. Pulte, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, to Ms. Pamela Bondi, Attorney General of the United States…there is sufficient reason to believe you may have made false statements on one or more mortgage agreements," Trump wrote. "For example, as detailed in the Criminal Referral, you signed one document attesting that a property in Michigan would be your primary residence for the next year.

"Two weeks later, you signed another document for a property in Georgia stating that it would be your primary residence for the next year," Trump continued. "It is inconceivable that you were not aware of your first commitment when making the second. It is impossible that you intended to honor both."

Fake fraud allegations that he had cooked up just so he could do this.

I find it very ironic that they went after Trump for alleged fraud although no one was defrauded and all of the banks involved were paid back in full with interest.

Now you have Cook, Schiff, and James who all committed bank fraud to obtain better loan rates, who did commit fraud, and now they have all been criminally referred to DOJ.

It is so, so sweet. :D

Funny how the 'comes around goes around' mantra is alive and well on the left.

Go after Trump for mortgage fraud, suddenly others are being held to the same standard.

Democrats opened a literal Pandora's Box.....:eusa_doh:

The charges will be dropped soon enough, but she will already be replaced and tRump's aim accomplished.

The documents she signed are online for anyone to see. Zero doubt she committed fraud. Regardless, the ***** is gone. She can go quietly or pay lawyers a ton of money to achieve the same result. My hope is that she fights it and gets further humiliated. Since she's a Dim, and black, my guess is she fights it. I hope so.

You guys didn’t think mortgage fraud was a barrier to serving government for Trump. So it seems like there isn’t any actual standard here.

Dude, you know this is because it happened to him. He's getting revenge by accusing others of his crimes.

That's the way he operates. We seen it many times before.

Wasn't an issue until the Dems opened Pandora's Box....... :04:

And as far as that goes, you clowns are probably going to lose that one.
