I can't take anyone seriously who can't spell INDICT correctly.
Or anyone who thinks that a state AG can indict a sitting President.
He's not sitting yet and won't be until January. After that, it's up to Congress to impeach or not. I predict that he will be impeached and the bottom feeders in the right wing of the GOP had it planned all along. I may not like Trump but he deserves better than that.
Ok --- one more time.
A sitting president cannot be impeached for actions prior to taking office. The framers of the Constitution assumed you were smart enough to vet your candidate before allowing hi to run, and if there were a crime in his past, you could make a reasoned judgement that it wouldn't impact his execution of presidential duties.
He can, however, be charged for a crime by any other venue (even while in office --- assuming, of course, jurisdiction). If found guilty, he could, conceivably, be sent to jail. If he is sent to jail, he can then be said to be unable to discharge his presidential duties, and the VP would assume the position. However, after serving his sentence, he could return to the Office of the President.
But, frankly, all this talk is childish nonsense ... Donald Trump is the newly elected President, he is going to be the President, and it's time for the left to grow up and acknowledge it. If they don't, they are in very serious danger of being left behind.
The train is leaving the station.
