According to the Personal Consumption Expenditures price index most closely followed by the Federal Reserve, core inflation — which strips out volatile items like food and gas prices — fell to 2.5% in April. That was the lowest reading since March 2021.

I am pretty sure you dont actually do anything in world business. I have received nearly zero goods where my costs went up due to tariffs yet. They are hitting in July through September and by October everything will be reflected.

I have only placed orders on about 25% of my back half materials and almost nothing has been received yet. It’s coming though. I assure you.

I am pretty sure you dont actually do anything in world business. I have received nearly zero goods where my costs went up due to tariffs yet. They are hitting in July through September and by October everything will be reflected.

American consumers are going to get hit from all sides. Shortages of goods will push prices up. Tariffs on imports will add to the price increases. Deportations will cause wages to go up as employers scramble to hire workers, further increasing taxes. Layoffs are already happening.

Trump has said that at the end of the day, after all of the deals are made there's still going to be a 10% tariff on all imports.
