Looks like usually high eighties to low nineties with humidity. Yergh. I would not want to march in that. At least its not July 4.
I don't know what anyone says or does in private, because it's in private.
With that said, I can speak to what I see and hear, and I've been in a number of parades and the military there always is respectufl and appears happy to be apart.
I know many Vets, and they love being part of a parade, including my father.
