Payoff to farmers from screwing over their farms. Farmers don't want payoffs. They want to see their businesses thrive without government interference. trump is increasing the dept while trashing the economy. "It's the economy. Stupid." is still true.

You do realize the only way Trump could do this is by utilizing either a law already on the books to do just this, or going to congress to get a law to do this?
I have a feeling a law is already on the books to do just this.
And it has been done before.
But because its Trump doing it now, it's different because "reasons"

I don't understand where he gets the authority to unilaterally slam other countries with tariffs. It seems to me this is something that Congress would have to pass legislation for.
