Trump On Murdered Ft. Hood Soldier: "It Doesn't Cost $60,000 To Bury A ******* Mexican"

The only thing missing from this fairy tale is "Once Upon A Time...".
Who called it.

From the Guardian...

“I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics – hurtful & disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members,” she wrote, referring to a bipartisan federal law named after Vanessa, which requires, among other things, that sexual harassment complaints involving service members be sent to an independent investigator, which was signed into law in 2021 by the Biden administration.

In her statement, Mayra added: “President did nothing but show respect to my family & Vanessa. In fact, I voted for President Trump today.”

Talk about a story blowing up in your face.

So do you believe anonymous sources or not?

The sister debunked this.

In april 2020, Vanessa Guillén, a 20-year-old Army private, was bludgeoned to death by a fellow soldier at Fort Hood, in Texas. The killer, aided by his girlfriend, burned Guillén's body.

Guillén, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, grew up in Houston, and her murder sparked outrage across Texas and beyond.

Shortly after her remains were discovered, President Donald Trump himself invited the family to the White House. I can help you out with the funeral, I'll help—I'll help you with that," he said. "I'll help you out.

Five months later, the secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy, announced the results of an investigation. McCarthy cited numerous "leadership failures" at Fort Hood and relieved or suspended several officers, including the base's commanding general.

Trump asked for an update on the McCarthy investigation. Christopher Miller, the acting secretary of defense (Trump had fired his predecessor, Mark Esper, three weeks earlier, writing in a tweet, "Mark Esper has been terminated"), was in attendance, along with Miller's chief of staff, Kash Patel. At a certain point, according to two people present at the meeting, Trump asked, "Did they bill us for the funeral? What did it cost?"

According to attendees, and to contemporaneous notes of the meeting taken by a participant, an aide answered: Yes, we received a bill; the funeral cost $60,000.

Trump became angry. "It doesn't cost 60,000 bucks to bury a ******* Mexican!" He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: "Don't pay it!" Later that day, he was still agitated. "Can you believe it?" he said, according to a witness. "******* people, trying to rip me off."

"I don't want them. It doesn't look good for me"

Figured some **** like you would try to post this filth, days after it was already debunked.

:puhleeze::puhleeze:The 100% DISGRACED Jeffery Golberg at the Atlantic wrote this moronic hit piece. After his descent into the deepest depths of YELLOW JOURNALISM, with his absurd/crazy concoction >> "Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’, why anybody would bother to read this filthy rag, an specially something by Goldberg, is one of the wonders of the world.

Must be pure unadulterated, unmistakable, unequivocal, unmitigated STUPIDITY.

Interesting how that Goldberg, lowlife, hit piece also showed up just within 2 months of a Trump ELECTION. What a surprise! :doubt:

At the time I marveled at how the left could make a race issue out of a very common crime of passion

The fact that she was hispanic was beside the point
