Until yesterday, I wasn’t one to LOVE Trump. I definitely thought that he was - and will be again - a very good president, whose policies helped America. But love? Too strong a word.

Now, though, I LOVE him. He has not only shown how tough and brave he is, and that he has the right instincts as a leader, but that he has the strength needed to combat the evil currently trying to destroy - oops, “transform” - America.

Others feel the same. The assassination attempt has ignited a determination to put Trump back in office, and Democrats will not be able to cheat enough to overcome it.

I'll do one better. If this turns out the way it looks like it will, Trump wins and all the power goes to Republicans. Then he absolutely demolishes the Deep State and we end up in a conservative age for a while.

It’s not just a dream. It’s a real likelihood. The Democrats have absolutely nobody who can hold a candle to Trump, and Democrat voters - not including the crazy ones on the left who would prefer a corpse to Trump - will not be motivated to turn out to vote.

The opposite holds true for Trump voters. They will be turning out en masse, and the down-ticket Democrats will lose. There is a very real likelihood that not only will Americans put Trump back in office, but we will expand our majority in the House and retake the Senate.

I agree, he is.

I gained a modicum of respect for Trump yesterday. When he stood back up he looked both defiant and pissed off. That garners respect.

I will not vote for the man as his policies I cannot agree with, but I do agree with you that this pretty much sealed the deal.

I have little respect for Trump because of his warlike policies and personality. However his response from getting shot yesterday certainly deserves some respect.

Wrong. There is a significant percentage of independents who are still undecided, or have a very loose attachment to their preferred nominee, and now at least 2/3rds of them will be going Trump.
