Every Republican president for 112 years has overseen a recession

When Trump was inaugurated four weeks ago, he took over an incredibly resilient economy. Despite the longest yield-curve inversion in history and the first meaningful decline in U.S. M2 money supply since the Great Depression -- two indicators that would typically foreshadow a recession -- the U.S. economy has continued to chug along.

trump will send us into a recession or worse. The problem is, he and musk are going after media outlets, so even if we enter a recession, the news that most of us will hear will be how it was Biden or Obama's fault or that things are not as bad as it seems. That coupled with a unprecedented attack on the judiciary may turn our country into Hungary 2.0. trump has shown us he feels there is no law that he needs to keep. Our democracy's only chance is he will overreach and doom the, cowardly, GOP.

TRUMP IS PUTTING US ON A COLLISION COURSE WITH AN ASTEROID!!!!
AAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! :aargh: :aargh: :aargh: :aargh: :aargh: :aargh: :aargh: :aargh:
Repubs have a true talent for creating a recession. Then Dems have to come and save our economy. This has been true for 112 years. But with trump, I truly expect the economic downturn will be worse, rivaling the great depression. It is a cycle that will continue over and over. Repubs, or in the case, MAGA pushes us into a recession and Dems have to bail us out.

The Dems Idea of "saving" is to rack up more Deficit and Debt, which devalue the dollar and increase inflation.
Economically that makes things much more worse, but the looney Dems think it's an improvement.
Probably because most of them parasite off the gub'mint and figure the taxpayers will pay to support their deadwood worthless arses.

Dems are clueless on wealth creation so their concept of "bail out" is dig the hole deeper.

Trump took over an economy;
That can't produce an egg
Record high energy costs
No new sources of electricity being built for our expanding society
Major wars on the verge of world War 3

It is only Trump's competency and experience that will save us.

"Repubs"?

Tell me, woke sensei, what do the 2025 MAGA Republicans have in common with their heretofore iterations?

Cuz, last I checked?

Democrats once claimed they believed in preventing illegal/immoral wars, illegal immigration, and - yes - recessions.

Yet there seems to be less daylight between the circa '25 Democrats and the erstwhile Bush neoCONS, than between MAGA and those neocon warmongerers.

So maybe - what is it your people say?

Oh yeah.

"RE-IMAGINE".

Rethink your labels, because they're hopelessly obsolete in terms of defining the contemporary political landscape.

LOL

Ronald Reagan laughs.

The economy was recovering nicely in 1992 months before the election. Indeed, GDP grew n 1992 by 3.52%.

Biden added $8.5 trillion to the debt.

This will be a hard winter economically and GOP will take the blame for it.

That includes the largest U.S. deficit in history at over $36.5 TRILLION.
