What if the woman is misinformed? If the husband realizes this, he can correct the mistake she is about to make. Let's put our country first!

---“I mean, can you imagine a wife not telling her husband who she’s voting for?” Trump said. “Even if you have a horrible, if you had a bad relationship, you’re going to tell your husband.”---

There are lots of things women don't tell their husbands.

What if the husband is misinformed and additionally doesn't believe he can be wrong, about anything? The wife should try to correct his misconceptions?

I mean this isn't the 1950s. Spouses should have the ability to talk about whatever's on their minds. On the other hand, they should respect the boundaries that each sets. If either one asks "what do think about this election? Have you decided yet who you're going to vote for" and the response is "I don't want to talk about it" then that should be the end of the conversation unless the significant other brings it up themself and wants to discuss it.

So maybe you're not personally qualified to say that married women keep a lot from their husbands.
Logic would indicate that if she was married then she WOULD have firsthand knowledge that at least some women do not tell their husbands everything.

Just because you get married doesn't mean you have to relinquish every once of your autonomy or your privacy. That's why computers & phones have passwords.
