We have a problem with inner city black ghetto crime. We don't kill all blacks. We have a problem with Mexican gangs or Korean gangs. We don't get rid of all the asians and Mexicans. So I guess we can't condemn all arabs because of the acts of the few.

I know I'm talking and thinking like I did the day after 9:11. I know my opinions and decision making will change after I've calmed down. That's why it's probably best to wait a week or month after a tragedy before passing legislation to make sure we didn't pass something while we weren't thinking rationally.

Like if you kill my kid, I want the death penalty. But my kid was not killed, you could probably convince me the death penalty is wrong.
