I think this is the final nail in the cable coffin. Cable was already dying. Now that they cancelled two of my favorite shows and WWE Monday Night Raw went to Netflix, I'm going to cancel my cable service. That will save me $120 a month. So thank you Trump. Now I will be able to afford 1 doll at Xmas.

Yes, cable TV is dying, primarily due to "cord-cutting" as consumers switch to more flexible and affordable streaming services like Netflix, Max, and Hulu. This trend is driven by factors such as high cable costs, limited on-demand options on traditional TV, and the rise of platforms that offer tailored content at a lower price. While cable TV still exists, its subscriber base has significantly declined since its peak around 2009, with industry analysts projecting continued drops in the coming years.

My nephew says I can pay YouTube monthly and get everything. Or a lot.

And for $280 you can buy a box that has every channel on it including ppv and all you need is the internet? You can buy it on Amazon. It's a little bit delayed but who cares for the price right? Any movie, live sports, news, etc.

How do you get this on Amazon? Anyone know what my nephew is referring to?

So, why is this Trump's fault?

I understand the sentiment, but by the time you pay for all the streaming services you'll need to get all the content you want, you'll be paying the same.

Cable TV is already dying. He just took off a big reason why people like me still have cable tv. It's to watch the late shows. Now two shows I love are gone.

WWE isn't Trump's fault, but they left cable tv too. Monday's are on Netflix now.

Cable was already dying. I'm surprised I haven't changed over to YouTube Tv yet. I'm doing it now for sure.

Next is Fallon and Seth Meyers?

God I can't wait to get you guys back. Not sure how because you don't have any right wing shows on the networks. Maybe you should give Rosanne a show. Dennis Miller. See if they beat Colbert or win an Emmy.

The only thing I know is the Firestick on Amazon.

How is this Trumps fault? I haven’t had or watched cable TV in years. I use other platforms and if I want local TV, I use my HD antenna, you seem stuck in the past. $120 for cable? I pay $35 for internet, that’s it. You need to get educated.

Those little sticks that go in your TV? Not in to them, I like my system, if you are good with computers you don’t need the sticks, just a good server and lots of storage.

There is YouTube, Philo, Fubo, Direct TV and a few more that I can’t remember, they are okay but expensive, except Philo I hear is cheap. I just use the internet, it works well.

The 5 mainstream news organizations are also dying. The Paramount/Skydance merger will most likely result in a sea change at CBS. One indication is that Bill O'Reilly was interviewed by Major Garrett. That would have never happened before.

Upset over WWE Monday Night Raw?

WTF.....That right there tells me all I need to know about the OP.
Oh c'mon now, I got a little friend that loves that stuff, man.
He comes over and and I bring up some of the old good 'uns and he knows it.
Like The American Dream, baby! I liked it too.
Atomic Elbow! Woot!
iu

For real that guy used to slice his forehead with a razorblade to bleed.
That's dedication to the job.

You already have the internet. Why do you need anything else?
What can you not see on the internet that's worth paying a subscription for?
There's links to WWE RAW and UFC and all that on the internet. :dunno:

Gutfeld is already beating all of them. That's why they are gone. The money the advertisers are losing is just too much. I'm sorry you think those shows are worth watching. They haven't been worth watching since Leno left.
