What new war? The only possible upcoming "new" war @ least for our the USA that I can see is with bankrupt China & that would go nuclear, or worse biological. A nuke exchange would only last a few hours @ best so it would be a very short war no doubt. A full scale biological war would be the end of most life on our planet so no winners in that scenario.

As far as the price of crude oil goes in our USA the price of crude oil had dropped 25% since last January to the month of May then plateaued save for minor fluctuations.
