I lived in the country, it has a complex history and a complex now...
Is there violence against people who have money, yes... Guess what that happens everywhere...
South Africa is a country where have and have not is very clear... Wealthy (both black and white) in urban areas live in compounds with armed guards 24/7.... Poor don't (mainly Black but some white too) and they are the source of crime...
South Africa is a third world country, there is no safety net, if you are poor and can't work, you die... It has high crime as about 10 - 20% of the country lives like a first world country.... Everyone I know in the place had been robbed (some with violence)...
South Africa is a the nightmare that US is considering... You live on a compound. Going out after dark involves extra security (e.g. not stopping at certain traffic lights), no inner city, no walking outside on public pavement really... No Taxis...
This is not a White v Black thing, it is a first world living smug third world... IF third world is on its last meal and his child will die, they are desperate and they will rob you..

As their leaders suggest there isn't any genocide going on have to face a video in front of the world.
This is on par with America showing the UN photos of the Russia nukes in Cuba,
Jews and Christians are being persecuted around the globe. In fact, many places there is persecution of people of faith, be they Muslim, Buddhist, Jew or Christian, Be they white, black or purple, we should NOT be killed for our skin colour.
It takes a real leader to call it out for the world to see while NBC tried to immediately change the subject as soon as the video ended.

President Donald Trump confronted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa about claims of a white genocide by showing video footage in the Oval Office of alleged burial sites of white farmers.
“Turn the lights down and just put this on,” Trump said as he directed Ramaphosa to watch a video montage of political rallies with widespread chants of “kill the farmer!” and images of grave sites.
“These are burial sites right here. … Over a thousand of white farmers,” Trump pointed out to the president, who had denied claims of genocide and said murder and crime are not unique to white farmers.
During the video presentation, Ramaphosa was looking elsewhere for most of it, with one member of the South African delegation visibly confused and furrowing his brow. According to the White House, the idea for the Oval Office movie moment came from Trump, the former reality TV star-turned-politician.
Following the video’s conclusion, Trump went on to show printouts of news articles on persecution as Ramaphosa urged a calm dialogue on the subject.
“What you saw, the speeches that were being made, one that is not government policy,” Ramaphosa told Trump of those calling for killings. “We have a multiparty democracy in South Africa that allows people to express themselves [and] political parties to adhere to various policies. And in many cases, or in some cases, those policies do not go along with government policy.”
“Our government policy is completely, completely against what he was saying, even in the parliament. And they are a small minority-party which is allowed to exist in terms of our Constitution,” he said.
The only problem is that the video of the "buriel site" and all of the crosses of the dead white people Trump used to make his case, came from the Congo and the confirmed genocide THERE.

The S African president was visibly uncomfortable. He knows what is going on, their own laws have been discriminatory.
We need to stop accepting the excuses for abuses by stating historical injustices. 95% Of peoples ancestors were exploited or persecuted, my ancestors were no different.
What's important is what happens to me NOW at the behest of government apparatuses. For that, Canadas reputation is built or destroyed.
