Trump couldn't be more right on this for these reasons:

1) Democrats wouldn't think twice about the nuclear option if they had power. They're pretending right now to care deeply for 'long-held Senate traditions', but they would scrap the filibuster in a heartbeat, citing the need to save the democracy. The leftwing media would carry their water.

2) Democrats WANT to crater the great Trump economy, knowing that whatever their tactics, the media will prop them up. Recall 2020 when Trump had the economy rolling, and COVID came up. What did the governors of New York California do? Shut down their states until past the election. These two large states turned the economy upside down. Then they blame Trump for the downturn. We see it all over again with this. Trump's stock market is setting record after record, and the Democrats are desperate to derail it. Trump is going to see to it this doesn't happen again.

3) Going nuclear takes the 0bamacare supplement negotiation off the table. Republicans should scrap this $4 trillion failure. The fact that it requires an infusion to stay afloat is the perfect argument. Give it back to the private sector. This may well be what Trump has in mind.

Guys, President Trump has tremendous political instincts. He has a knack for always being right. The time for decorum and playing nice is long past. Democrats don't do it. Trump understands the game. He's right. It's time to stop being weak and stupid, and be strong and smart like he is.

The GOP is winning this battle. This behavior, along with all their past and upcoming bad behavior will be punished in the midterms. After the midterms the GOP will have more than 60 seats and won't have to worry about the filibuster. The filibuster is there to make it harder for corrupt politicians to make bad legislation. We should make it harder for corrupt politicians to get what they want, not easier. If we want to save America from the democraps, let's help them destroy their future. We have to trust the GOP in congress to focus on winning the war, not just this one battle. When and if it is time to end the filibuster they will. And hopefully they will put it back when they have a sizeable majority.
