Qatar's GDP is incapable of allowing them to make any investment on the scale that Trump is claiming. That's the bottom line. Their yearly GDP is 220+ billion, but their total tax revenue generated is only 220+ million. For some context, that's equivalent to what the state of West Virginia generates yearly, which is one of the poorest states in America. Even California, which is the richest state, cannot afford a 1.2 trillion investment in anything without massive federal aid. It's simple ******* math. Qatar is not investing 1.2 trillion, never was, never will. This is another lie in a long list of lies meant for the rubes.
