Not if his lawyers can delay everything until after the elections. That's the only tactic they have, and it could work.
Don't forget, there is absolutely no bottom here. He will do absolutely anything. So let's say he got re-elected -- The very first thing he would do is appoint an AG who would summarily shut down/scuttle any federal cases. The state cases couldn't be tried until after he was out of office, and he would have four years to do something about that.
This situation can't be viewed within the context of America or American politics or American law or American history. The only analogues we can come close to are Europe, around 90 years ago. And again, this is not about one person. This is about those who are so ambitious and so craven that they'll enable him. It's happened before. Only not here.
