Interesting opening post.
It has taken me about four + years to come to the conclusion,
you can't always believe anything anymore.
I see there are many different opinions about what the "news" tells people to believe.
I believe there are people on both sides afraid to come forward with what we would call truth.
Hello I'm new here and no doubt will get pummelled in my first post in this thread..
but that's the way it goes.
Truth is a hard pill to swallow.
You do realize that the more sensational the news, the more the news agencies get paid?
It's all about the money. No matter what side your on.
And us pawns keep getting pushed into taking sides against each other.
Now the government is corrupt as hell. Has been for centuries.
Do you really think that we are going to change that by arguing amongst ourselves?
No way, they got us all played.
They know exactly what reaction each side will bring to the table.
We are ALL being played like a fiddle.
It doesn't matter who is sitting in the President's seat. He/She is not the one calling the shots.
The ones that are, you never see. That's why they keep getting away with it.
They are the invisible enemy that seeks to divide us.
I just don't understand why everyone is so intent on playing their games by their rules.
Every issue on the political table is intended for their particular audience.
Whether it be Fox on the right or CNN on the left..
The media is behind trying to control the way you think, the way you feel,
the way you react to certain issues.
It's control. 100% control.
And if you go against the narrative on either side, it causes even more division, more hostility.
I guess me question is:
Why keep playing the game?
Nice to meet everyone.
Hoping to bridge the gap if even an inch.. maybe possibly, who knows
but I feel it's worth a try.
We all live on one planet and somewhere, somehow, we all need each other to survive.
And allowing big money and big tech to control the way we feel about each other..
Well, I don't think we have much of a chance of overcoming their power over us and a successful survival.
They really don't care about any of us. We are all slaves to their system.
The only way we will make it, is to overcome their desire to cause us fear,
by being fearless.
We are going to need to stand together at some point.
Why not start now?
Hugs
