Trump can't do it with just his sharpie.

The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Mr Trump flat-out refused to return boxes of documents, including some that apparently were marked classified, when approached by his former deputy White House counsel, Patrick Philbin.

And he wasn’t alone – multiple other aides to the president reportedly told him the same thing. But Mr Trump resisted, telling them “it’s not theirs, it’s mine”.

Seems to me there are two pieces to the story: The exact nature of the documents he took, and what he planned to do with them.

So unless (a) some of the documents are just blatantly dangerous for him to have, and/or (b) the DOJ has some kind of evidence that he wanted to sell them or leverage them in some way, I'm not really sure where this goes, beyond a slap on the wrist so he can play victim. As usual.

they called him, this has been going on before he even left office ... he had been taking classified documents from day one ... to classify a document it has to go through a procedure ... and there is a tail of documents saying who and why it's being classified ... there are no documents saying Biden went and classified them plus there is a date on each document when it was classified you have no such documents or statements on when it was classified ...
