ā€˜ā€¦the years-long embrace by Trump and his supporters of conspiracy theories about the government’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case has left the president under political siege from members of both parties over his ties to the pedophile financier.

Trump blames it all on his usual Democratic targets. But it was candidate Trump who promised to open the government’s Epstein files; and its probes into the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He fed the presumption that something sinister prompted the so-called ā€œdeep stateā€ to withhold the truth about the involvement of powerful people.

Now, however, Trump is the ā€œdeep stateā€ and his administration’s failure to find the promised disclosures has prompted most Americans to think he is hiding something, a belief that gains more traction with each new disclosure of some connection between them.

Last week’s Economist/YouGov poll showed 4 of 5 American adults believe the federal government should release all the Epstein files, and 2 of every 3 think the government is hiding something, including half of all Republicans polled.

The GOP’s underlying concern is that Trump’s relationship to Epstein was more than just friendship. Though they later fell out, they spent a lot of time together back then. ā€œHe’s a lot of fun to be with,ā€ Trump told New York magazine in 2002. ā€œIt is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do.ā€ā€™

Another example of Trump’s incompetence and stupidity, and the fact that Trump is unfit to be president.

What mess?

Jones doesn't have TDS. The Irish woman and the other MAGATS do.

It is time the gaslighting ended b----. Opposing Trump is not deranged. It is the exact opposite. Defending anything and everything Trump does, even when it is obviously wrong, is deranged.

Lol @ Irish Woman and Magats, simple minded dope

If we could realistically point at one man (or woman) and be assured that removing that individual would realistically and magically turn our country around and all things would be good and known again, I say let's go for it. If you are just a little skeptical, maybe we need to think a little more on this. It seems we are being offered up another low hanging clan sacrificial stfu non starter. Again.

Elon put him on blast about it during their break up. At this point if it doesn't exist, they need to manufacture something to release just to make it appear if they are acting in good faith. Releasing nothing is not going to make this go away.

Lets face it, Biden's admin had the file for 4 years, if anything in it would have really hurt Trump, it would have been released then.

Indeed, the Biden administration did not release any incriminating files against Trump related to Epstein.
Additionally, Trump's name appearing in the Epstein files does not necessarily imply wrongdoing on his part, and the Merrick/Biden DOJ concluded there was no evidence of a "client list" or blackmail involving Epstein.

The DOJ had the file. It was Garland's call. When he can see it, we will know.

Now we don't.

But we have a right to see it.

Lets face it, Biden's admin had the file for 4 years, if anything in it would have really hurt Trump, it would have been released then.
