LOL. At 5:09 this morning I got a rage text from one of my sisters that read "Trump was supposed to be good for my IRA. Instead it has lost $75K since he took office".

My response was "Trump promised to cut taxes and not having to pay anything on that $75K will cut your taxes by like $11K. #PromiseKept!!!"

She was less than amused.

I have been getting a lot of static for having more in the bank than the FDIC will insure. Even my money honey at the bank has been begging me to let her set me up with a financial planner and "invest it". This week is why the money has been sitting there. I honestly don't know why people couldn't see this coming. It was actually overdue IMHO. There was no way I am doing anything with that cash until the kiddies all have their 6 year associate degrees in underwater lesbian studies or sumpin equally worthless.

Mine is down this much this year. No clue what that is in dollars and cents as I don't feel like mathing after a day of yardwork. If I get desperate for cash I suppose I can raise the rents on the properties I haven't sold off and parked the money outside of the market's reach.
