So Donald Trump has filed his own personal trademark of Airports that have not been named after him... yet. The plan is for him to snatch up the trademark, which he oversees approval of, then name airports after himself (see Palm Beach International), then capitalize on the merchandise sales with the airport name. You. Cant. Make. It. Up.

Trump Org. Applies For Trademarks For Airports Not Yet Named For Him

Key Facts
DTTM Operations LLC, a Delaware-incorporated entity managed by The Trump Organization that controls President Donald Trump’s intellectual property portfolio, filed three trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that would reserve his name for use as the brand of an airport.

Late Friday afternoon, the organization filed applications for “Donald J. Trump International Airport” and “President Donald J. Trump International Airport” and on Saturday filed a similar application for “DJT,” first reported in a blog post by Josh Gerben, founder and managing partner of Gerben IP, a trademark law firm headquartered in Washington, DC.

For years, Trump has told advisors he wanted an airport named after him, multiple news outlets, including Fox News, have reported.

While the Trump Organization holds scores of trademarks, “this is the first time I’ve seen a trademark filing that was directly tied to an action that he's trying to take as President, which is getting these airports renamed,” Gerben told Forbes.

One potential reason for filing a trademark application “is certainly the ability to monetize the trademark,” .

He really did file for those trademarked names. Why can't he write an EO putting his name on everything in the US? That would save time.

Did you go to the President Donald J. Trump Walmart today?

Trump isn't waiting for future generations to name things after him. It's happening now

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Most American presidents aspire to the kind of greatness that prompts future generations to name important things in their honor.

"Donald Trump isn’t leaving it to future generations."

One can only wonder how future generations will rename all of Trump's vanity variations?

Your link says that he won’t receive any royalties or any kind of compensation for this

It says he wont for the ACTUAL AIRPORT name on the building. Like Palm Beach International wont pay to use his name HOWEVER any merchandise with his name on it is trademarked now so if anyone wants to sell Trump International Airport merchandise (tshirt, mug, magnet, pin, hat, etc) he WILL GET ROYALTIES. Just trying to be clear for you.

Speculation at this point.

let’s see what happens.

Trump's vanity and greed know no bounds.
He deserves a death like Epstein's. :stir:

"That’s on top of the 'Trump Accounts' for tax-deferred investments, the TrumpRx government website soon to offer direct sales of prescription drugs, the 'Trump Gold Card' visa that costs at least $1 million and the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity, a transit corridor included in a deal his administration brokered between Armenia and Azerbaijan."
