Why was an acting U.S. Attorney issuing directives to Border Patrol leader? All he asked her was what to do if his officers were assaulted, an all to common event, thanks to Democrats and "not Democrats" who hate Democracy, and the rule of law. She should have given him that guidance, and been glad he checked so that she could prosecute any such assailents.

He didn't ask her for an interpretation of a court ruling that is nearly certain to be overturned. Nor did he say that he planned detain people without reasonable suspicion. Border Patrol gets all needed legal guidance from the attorneys at the Department of Homeland Security, not from rogue justice department shysters.
