Trump Fires Inspector General Who Sounded Alarm On Ukraine Call

OKTexas: What exactly are you laughing about?

Whats a "pandemy"?

.

pandemic

Spell check is a great tool, especially for ESL folks like yourself. Where are you from anyway?

.

Good grief. Are all US-Americans idiots? Here again the text I wrote. I used the German word "Pandemie" in the form "pandemy" instead of the word "pandemic".

-----
Your president is responsible for a dramatic situation in the USA. His job is to protect the USA and the western world. I can live with the idea that the USA likes not to be any longer the leading nation of the western world. That's only a kind of "US-exit". But what about his extreme idiotic behavior in context of the current pandemy? Is it "only" his incompetence, which brings lots of people of the USA in the danger to lose their life - or is he just simple not doing what's the job of an US-American president: to do what's the best for all US-Americans, independent from any political opinion. Why is he not doing his job? What are the concrete reasons for? What are his real interests? Is he only an idiot? Is he criminal? Or is he a criminal idiot?
-----

Would you like me to point out the syntax and grammatical errors as well? This is a US message board we speak English here, not German.

.

English is only a German dialect - and your strange element has nothing to do with any use of language. Your strange element is your cultivated idiocy.

LMAO, yet I knew English was your second language just by your improper use, go figure. BTW are you an EU-German? ...

What for heavens sake is an "EU-German" in your rotten way not to think?

Funny, I was wondering the same thing as to a US-American or a US-American President.

.

For example: President Trump is not president of Canada or Mexico. He's president of the USA, of US-America. And a citizen of the USA is not a citizen all over America. You make for example a difference between Americans and Mexicans. But as well US-Americans and Mexicans are Americans. If we would use the word "German" how you use the word "American", then we would call Europe Germany and all Europeans Germans - what would be totally wrong.

Damn you're ignorant, you're drawing distinctions Mexicans, Americans and Canadians don't do. BTW Canada doesn't have a president, they have a PM, just like EU-Germans do.
.

We have a chancellor (and a president and prime-ministers too). The EU has a commission. And when I use the word "American" then I do not reduce this word to the USA. It's arrogant to do so.

This man works at the mercy of the president. The president doesn't work at the mercy of those he appoints to certain posts in his administration.

Moral implications be damned. If the constitution says he can fire and hire anyone he wants, so be it.

Stop pretending you're upset, Lakhota.

He has a duty to do his job without playing politics. He did that and is a patriot.

Atkinson was Schiff's little toady that helped manufacture another. 'impeachable offense', one that failed to meet Pelosi's own minimum standards for proceeding with Impeachment....and Schiff should be in prison. Being fired should be looked at as a blessing...

Atkinson: Trump fired me because I handled whistleblower complaint properly

The intelligence community watchdog removed abruptly late Friday by President Donald Trump says he believes Trump ousted him because of his evenhanded handling of a whistleblower complaint that ultimately led to the president's impeachment.

"It is hard not to think that the President’s loss of confidence in me derives from my having faithfully discharged my legal obligations as an independent and impartial Inspector General," Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general said in a statement Sunday, "and from my commitment to continue to do so."

Rep. Adam Schiff slams the “dead of night” decision to gut the intelligence community’s independence by firing Michael Atkinson.

President Donald Trump has notified the Senate Intelligence Committee that he is firing Michael Atkinson, the inspector general for the U.S. intelligence community who was the first to alert Congress to an urgent whistleblower complaint about Trump’s phone call with Ukraine’s president last year.

In a July 25 phone call, Trump pressured President Volodymyr Zelensky to open an investigation into unfounded accusations against former Vice President Joe Biden and his son. At the time, Trump was withholding military aid from Ukraine, a form of coercion for political gain that led to his impeachment in the House.

Trump notified the Senate committee of his intention to fire Atkinson and remove him from his post as inspector general of U.S. intelligence agencies, which will be effective 30 days from Friday, according to congressional officials and a copy of Trump’s notification in a letter obtained by several media outlets.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) called the “dead of night decision” a “blatant attempt to gut the independence of the Intelligence community and retaliate against those who dare to expose presidential wrongdoing.”

Is Trump trying to deflect attention away from his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic? It really does look that way. Michael Atkinson was appointed by Trump. Atkinson has a reputation of being an honorable man.

he fired the lying traitor who fed bullshit to pencil neck Schiff. He should have done it sooner.

Dopey Donald Trump blunders again and hopes to diminish the outcry by announcing it during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dopey Donald Trump is disgracing himself with lies and blunders during his daily press conferences and had evidently hoped the pandemic would take the oxygen out of the political environment to allow him to escape criticism from both sides for firing the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community.

Another fine pickle Captain Blunder Dopey Donald Trump has got himself into.

President Donald Trump has fired the intelligence community’s chief watchdog, Michael Atkinson, who was the first to sound the alarm to Congress last September about an “urgent” complaint he received from an intelligence official involving Trump’s communications with Ukraine’s president.

Atkinson's decision set in motion the congressional probe that culminated in Trump's impeachment and ultimate acquittal in a bruising political and legal drama that consumed Washington for months. ...
It has now become boringly routine for brainwashed Trumper's to attack any USMB poster who dare criticize or even post a negative story on Dopey Donald. Don't expect any cover from moderators here in enforcing "personal attack" rules or staying on topic rules. USMB is a pro-Trump site with corrupted mod's. So, be prepared for whining and your thread to be vandalized.

actually its sympathy for those of you who are too brain challenged to be able to see the truth.

USMB allows all sides to post their thoughts, sorry if the intelligent posters outnumber you.

Trump removes top coronavirus watchdog, widens attack on inspectors general

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump removed the inspector general who was to oversee the government’s $2.3 trillion coronavirus response, a spokeswoman for the official’s office said on Tuesday, fueling concerns in Congress about oversight of the relief package.

It was the Republican president’s most recent broadside against the federal watchdogs who seek to root out government waste, fraud and abuse following his removal on Friday of the intelligence community’s IG and his sharp criticism of the one who oversees the Department of Health and Human Services.

There is nothing complicated about what's happening here. Inspectors General are there to act as independent watchdogs beholden to the American people, not the prez. Their work has, not surprisingly, irritated President Petulance who views any criticism of his presidency as heresy to be silenced.

Does Baby Donald have the authority to remove these IG's? Yes. That is not in dispute. Is his removal of them, for transparently political reasons, harmful to the rule of law and to the country? Yes.

Does that matter to Trump cultists? No.

Lies seem to be the only thing you guys post these days.

And denial and fact-less-based opinion is all you snowflakes ever post in response to FACT.

The Whistle Blower complaint was filed by someone not even meeting the definition of a 'Whistle blower', a complaint that was based on hearsay - one never proven to have happened (NO EVIDENCE).

The complaint was reviewed by the prosecutorial departments within the DOJ, and it was REJECTED because there was 1) NO CRIME, 2) NO WITNESSES, & 3) NO EVIDENCE.

Atkinson altered the whistle blower rules based off of this one complaint to allow the complaint - THAT HAD ALREADY NBEEN DISMISSED BY THE DOJ - made by the NON-whistle blower to go directly to D-Adam Schiff, the House Intel Committee Chairman, who then manufactured it into the next failed coup attempt.

Schiff and Democrats attempted to conceal Atkinson's testimony and shield him from being called to testify by Republicans:

"Rep. Adam B. Schiff, California Democrat, and other impeachment managers repeatedly talk about the 17 witnesses interviewed during the House’s secretive depositions. But they do not mention an 18th witness, Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community’s inspector general who has firsthand knowledge of the origins of the whistleblower complaint that led to the impeachment."

WHY wouldn't Schiff want the IG who bypassed the DOJ after rejecting their dismissal of the case to come forward and testify?

“The reason it hasn’t been released is it’s not helpful to Adam Schiff. It is not helpful to the whistleblower,” said Rep. John Ratcliffe, Texas Republican, who took part in the October interview with Mr. Atkinson. “It raises credibility issues about both of them.”

Yeah. He's a commie fuck and agent of Schiff, looking for a reason to get Trump impeached.

I would have him "suicided" like Hillary would.

Bipartisan group of senators demands Trump explain intel IG firing

A bipartisan group of senators is demanding that President Donald Trump explain why he fired the intelligence community’s top watchdog, writing in a letter late Wednesday that the president’s stated reasoning was “not sufficient.”

The letter, signed by eight senators from both parties, represents Congress’ clearest denunciation yet of Trump’s decision to sack Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general.

Will you Dems ever admit you made a mistake when you impeached Trump? There were no valid grounds for impeachment.
