Patton was 100% correct that WWII final disposition was a loss for America and Europe

A couple of things history ignorants like you fail to understand.

1) Russia experienced about as many (if not more) military and civilian casualties as the USA & UK & France combined. Hence a feeling among most Western Leadership that USSR "deserved"(had a right to) capture of Berlin and "liberation" of Eastern Europe.
2) By the time of Berlin's capture by the Soviets, USSR's Army was about 2-3 times the size of the USA and UK forces in Europe. And would have been larger still once ground forces in the Pacific had relocated (or could attack Russia from the East).
3) The civilians of the USA and UK were war weary by May 1945 and likely would not support or tolerate extending the war with a "NEW" enemy in former ally USSR ("Kindly Uncle Joe" - FDR).
4) Patton may have had some merits as a battlefield leader, but as a Grand Strategist not. GS was out of his league.
5) As it was, the war was only won because of the USA being involved, hence not a loss for Europe and America(USA) since the alternative of a world mostly divided between Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan would have been a far worse "final disposition" for humanity and the future.
