Zone1 Trump Expands IVF. Mistake.

Thank you for defending President Trump, but IVF shouldn't be forced on the children being put to death.
You are welcome to your faith

Our President understands how important IVF is to families and is protecting it

You have no right to push your twisted views on others

Judgment day is in the future. Even the righteous remain in their graves until then, including Mary. ;)
Blasphemy!
😂 just kidding
Yeah, she's sleeping like all of us will until His return. That basic error tells me THAT is not God's Church

Those are not babies, and that is not an abortion. If you leave them alone, they die. A natural process. Go back to school and get an education so you won't look ridiculous.
Of course it’s abortion. It’s not a natural process if you’re fertilizing them in the lab.

What if it is not a twisted view, but simply an alternate view? What if it is not being pushed on others but offered to others?

The question is, How much sanctity should be placed on life? Once life begins, should that life be protected? The downside of IVF, is in order to hopefully gain one healthy baby, how many are discarded, dismissed as "zygotes" not the beginning of life. Once implanted, what if all five survive? The technology now in use is to kill in utero all but the healthiest of the wanted gender, the others labeled embryos and not seen as the the beginning of human life, the others human lives sacrificed so that one might remain healthy, receiving the nutrients needed for a healthy newborn. I wonder how many choose to keep the weakest, the runt of the litter it might be called.

For believers, the question is that when it comes to life, What does God want? For non-believers, What does nature want? Does what you want align with what God (or nature) want? Is the answer, "I don't care what God wants; I don't care what nature wants. I want what I want, and I want a healthy baby no matter how many human lives must be discarded to get what I want."

There is no easy answer, no easy choice. One must dig deep to decide how much sanctity should be placed on life. Start there, before one decides what one wants or doesn't want.

If they are not created naturally, it cannot be an abortion. It is never in a human body and will not develop unless you do. It is a scientific fact that it is not an abortion. Don't play stupid for religious purposes.

These are human beings which are being killed. Bottom line.

Donald Trump has usually made great decisions. His plan to back IVF is not one of them. IVF is immoral. The moral reasoning behind this may not be readily apparent, but the Catholic Church has a very good explanation as to why it is wrong. Good won't result from this.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that a child should be conceived through the love of their parents, not through medical intervention. The church considers in vitro fertilization (IVF) immoral because it replaces the intimate union of a couple. The Church teaches that the only moral way to conceive a child is through the loving embrace of the marital act. The dignity of the child requires this of us. This beautiful, wonderful expression of love between the husband and the wife works in cooperation with God to create a totally separate human being. That is why we call it procreation rather than creation.

And not only that, since the success rate is low, many embryos. aka human beings are destroyed. This is a worse evil than the reason above. In fact more humans are killed through IVF than abortion.

After our biological child was born, my wife and I were up against this. Ultimately we rejected IVF and adopted. It was the right decision. Hopefully President Trump will recognize this and reverse his decision.
So the church doesn't recognize the love and devotion of two people wanting to have children??? kind of short sighted if you ask me.... but there are many things the Catholic church is wrong about....

People can always adopt. That's the truly loving option if you are unable to have children. It's sure better than killing children in the early developmental stages. As for the RCC, it's correct on every issue because it's Jesus' Church

That's your opinion, not the law, and not based on the Bible. Have a nice day!
It's not just my opinion. Abortion forbidden by Jesus' Church as well as in the Bible. The law is wrong on this. That's the whole point of my thread.

You converted to Catholic, didn't you?
