The President has tried to blame the Democrats, and, more unexpectedly, he has called those in his base who have asked for a fuller accounting “weaklings” and “stupid.”

‘Squirming, the President has tried to dismiss the uproar (“Are people still talking about this guy?”) and to blame it, somehow, on Barack Obama and Joe Biden (the Democrats’ “new SCAM”). More unexpectedly, he has called those in his own base who have asked for a fuller accounting “weaklings” and “stupid,” lamenting that “my PAST SUPPORTERS have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker.” But that has been just blood in the water, both to the Democrats who are now calling for the full release of the Epstein files and to the anonymous Republican strategists who have begun to warn of a drop in turnout in the midterms.

No wonder Trump sounds so exasperated. (On Thursday, he said that Bondi would produce “any and all” grand-jury testimony from Epstein’s case, though this seems unlikely to satisfy anyone.) The central illusion of his political career has been that, despite his wealth and evident clout, he remains an outsider. But that was always a fiction, and now—with the G.O.P. leadership unified behind him and the Supreme Court mostly backing him—he may feel strong enough to leave some of his movement’s weirdness behind. Second-term Trump is no longer acting as a populist, and the Epstein case is unfolding as a test of how maga responds to this news.’

It’s true – Trump was never an ‘outsider,’ never a ‘populist’ – Trump is the product of a GOP that’s long been authoritarian and anti-democratic, a GOP motivated by fear, ignorance, racism, bigotry, and hate; Trump is the prefect representative of the Republican establishment.
Reminds me of the people who would not let go of the Obama birth certificate nonsense

WHY TRUMP CANNOT RELEASE THE FILES.

1. RFK Jr.: Introduced to his second wife, Mary (died by suicide), by her best friend Ghislaine Maxwell. Admitted to multiple Lolita Express flights. Accused of assault by several victims, including his nanny. Trump’s HHS Secretary.

Virginia Giuffre claimed Epstein sex-trafficked her to Dershowitz at least six times, starting at age 16. Epstein’s lawyer (with Ken Starr), secured “illegal” plea deal from Alexander Acosta. Trump’s impeachment lawyer.

4. Alexander Acosta: U.S. Attorney who gave Epstein his 2008 "sweetheart" plea deal. Trump’s Labor Secretary.

5. Elon Musk: Brother Kimbal met girlfriend through Epstein. Elon visited Epstein’s home. Epstein claimed to be Elon’s financial advisor and exchanged emails. Subpoenaed in Epstein case for financial records and documents on Epstein’s human trafficking. Virgin Islands believed Musk may have been a client of Epstein (Epstein Island).

6. Peter Thiel: business associate of Epstein, Epstein invested $40M in Thiel's Valar Ventures in 2015, Epstein arranged meetings between Thiel and Russian officials leading up to the 2016 election, founding member of PayPal with Musk, political financier of Trump, boss/financier/mentor of JD Vance, founder of Palantir (AI software used by U.S. government)

8. Steve Bannon: Became Epstein’s close friend and advisor after leaving White House in 2017. Was making documentary, “The Monsters: Epstein’s Life Among the Global Elite,” before Epstein’s 2019 arrest. Claims to have 16 hours of unreleased Epstein interviews. Trump’s White House chief strategist.

9. Steve Mnuchin: Listed as point of contact for Jean-Luc Brunel’s modeling agency. Trump’s Treasury Secretary.

10. Jean-Luc Brunel: Epstein’s trafficking partner, worked for John Casablancas at Elite Model Management, supplied teens for trafficking to Epstein and Tevfik Arif. Died by suicide in prison (2022).

11. Tevfik Arif: Charged with trafficking underage teens via Epstein’s partner Jean-Luc Brunel. Trump’s Bayrock Group business partner.

12. Felix Sater: Trump and Arif’s Bayrock partner, son of Russian mob underboss.

13. John Casablancas: Elite Model Management founder, Trump’s friend since the 1970s, hosted teen modeling parties with Trump (Look of the Year). Accused pedophile (multiple victims died mysteriously). Linked to Brunel and Epstein. Inspired Trump’s modeling ventures (Miss Teen USA, Trump Model Management). Introduced to Trump via Roy Cohn.

14. Roy Cohn: Accused pedophile, Trump’s mentor, Fred Trump’s fixer.

16: Melanija Knavs (Melania Knauss Trump): runner-up for Slovenia's "Look of the Year" in 1992, brought to U.S. by Paolo Zampolli in 1996, introduced by Zampolli to Trump in 1998 at a "modeling party". Epstein claimed he made the original introduction. Zampolli was integral in getting her Einstein Visa.

17. Robert Maxwell: Ghislaine’s father, Mossad and KGB agent, died mysteriously, found floating near his yacht.

18. Rupert Murdoch: friends with Robert Maxwell since the 1960s, in Jeffrey Epstein's black book multiple times. His daughter was a student of Jeffrey Epstein at the Dalton school from 1974 to 1976, where Bill Barr's father was the headmaster.

19. Virginia Giuffre: Trafficking victim, met Maxwell while working as a "towel girl" at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago spa (age 16). Died by suicide in April 2025 after surviving a car accident days earlier.

20. Jeffrey Epstein: Claimed Mossad ties, died by suicide (2019). Allegedly visited by Bill Barr 24 hours before death (mob informant). Missing security footage.

21. Trump: On flight logs 7 times, in black book 2 times. Multiple witnesses and underage accusers of sexual misconduct or assault. Over 27 adult female accusers of sexual misconduct or assault.

Trump may have not done anything criminal.

But is he hiding something that would get him in trouble for obstructing justice?

I beg to differ.

Trump has always been an outsider. The Trumps were looked down on because they were slezy and unclothed. But, that what you get from Queens. Of course, Trump himself is vulgar and uncouth. He makes a fetish of it. Like a gangster.

So he was unlikely to be seen at fashionable parties among the Park Ave set.

He is the tool of the right wing cabal that emerged in DC in the late 1970’s. The Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation chief among them, floating on islands of Texas oil money.

And, at the present, he is delivering for them.

And he and his family are collecting their baksheesh every step of the way.
