Trump doesn't know what (or who) Habeas Corus is!!!

The influx of immigrants was already slowing down when he got there. The reason they aren't coming is because the economy kind of sucks right now. No point coming if there isn't a job for you when you get here.
Do we need to post the graphs again showing your full of baloney?

Nah..... people will say whatever....I'm just dispelling the myth that anyone needs to have their eyes opened. Trump is a totally known quantity. Probably more well known as a candidate than anyone I can think of before him.

What does Trump have to do for you to admit he was a mistake?

Asking for a friend.

Not sure how you got to that conclusion from what I said.

I wasn't even expressing an opinion, I was talking about what others were doing.

But I guess some people are just trying to "win" an argument.
You’re the one who keeps saying “Republicans started it.” So who’s trying to win an argument here?

I told you before that if you’re ignoring the fact of Trump’s impeachments being based on false pretenses and that the Democrat party relentlessly hounded him for four years straight in the larger context of the wisdom of political retribution then all you’re doing here is hating on Trump and/or criticizing the Republican party.

You have yet to acknowledge the egregiousness and maliciousness of their actions and you have provided no evidence that the Republican party collectively and concertedly conspired to entrap Clinton.

Not trying to win at all.

I'm literally telling you that the Republicans started a frivolous impeachment campaign against the Democrats first. That's a FACT.

I don't even know why we're even still talking about this.

As for "collectively and concertedly conspired".... did I say that was the case? No.

I said they went after him, which was Starr and a few other people. Not the WHOLE of the Republican Party, but it was done with glee and happiness from those Congressmen and women who are Republicans. Seeing how most of them voted to impeach Clinton.

No. What is fact is that Republicans impeached Clinton.

First, you’re trying to frame this as Republicans vs. Democrats and that Republicans started a tit-for-tat campaign where retribution was either expected or inevitable or both. You simply don’t know this.

Secondly, if Democrats were interested in retribution against the Republican party, they had their chance with George W.

No, the impeachments against Trump were not political retribution, it was personal because they viscerally hated the man. They hated him so much that their hate blinded their objectivity to the point that it was Get Rid of Trump at all Costs, ethics and the law be damned.

Yes. In Post #153 you said:

The Republicans went after Clinton, they set him up, knowing that men would lie about their sexual affairs simply to stop their wives finding out about it.”

“…glee and happiness..” are subjective terms and likely don’t reflect the actual situation.

Let’s stick with known facts, shall we?

No, I didn't say it retribution was expected. I'm saying from this point in time looking back, it was inevitable.

Yeah, they could have gone after Dubya, but Dubya got hisself a get out of jail free card in the shape of 9/11.

Also Dubya didn't do stupid shit like Trump does, and doesn't come across as much of a criminal, like Trump does and is.

Of course they hate Trump. He's all over the place. He does stupid shit.

You can call it retribution or whatever you like, the fact that the Reps did it to the Dems allows the Dems to justify doing it to Trump.

Trump plays dirty, very dirty, and then gets angry when it bites him in the ass.

He's just done it with China, again.

He says "Tariffs on China" and China says "okay, we're not letting you have rare earth minerals" and Trump says "that's not fair, I'll go cry to my mommy"

Actually, it was not inevitable. The decision to impeach in both cases was a choice and choices are never inevitable.
Yeah, they could have gone after Dubya, but Dubya got hisself a get out of jail free card in the shape of 9/11.

How would you have any idea that that was why they didn’t?

This is entirely opinion.
Of course they hate Trump. He's all over the place. He does stupid shit.

So do Democrats. So?

  • Keeping the border open or at least not doing anything to stem the tide was a stupid thing to do.
  • Being lenient with career criminals is a stupid thing to do.
*Allowing rioters and protesters to take over an entire section of a major U.S. city was a colossally stupid thing to do.
* Locking down the entire country was a monumentally stupid thing to do.

Should I go on?
You can call it retribution or whatever you like, the fact that the Reps did it to the Dems allows the Dems to justify doing it to Trump.

So then, you agree with your earlier assessment that “…truth isn't important in an impeachment trial. It's literally a popularity vote among Congressmen and women.”

At the time you made it out like this was a bad thing. Now you seem to be in favor of it because - I can only assume - Trump was the target.

Once again, irrelevant.

We are not debating Trump’s deeds or misdeeds or anything at all said or done by him. We’re debating about impeachments and why and how they were done.

This exchange between you and me has gone in circles because you keep veering unerringly and inevitably right back to talking about how evil you think Trump is.

Give it a rest already.

Oh no, boo hoo, you keep talking bad about Trump. Oh, stop, otherwise I'll wet myself.

******* hell.

Um, I'm sorry, trying to overturn an election or trying to shake down a foreign government to get dirt on your rival is a LOT more serious than lying about a blow job because you are embarrassed about it.

I frankly don’t give a shit. We’re discussing the basis for the impeachments, not who deserved it more.
You mean other than the millions of dollars spent by Scaife trying to create a case against Clinton? Paula Jones' lawsuit was garbage, thrown out by the courts multiple times, but they kept it alive.

Ken Starr Spent 70 million dollars on a panty-sniffing raid.

I don’t care now and I didn’t care then. The whole thing was amusing to me.
What lies? He did try to shake down Zelenskyy for dirt on Biden. He did incite a riot at the Capitol.
Irrelevant. We’re talking about the impeachments, dumbass.

Trump either did not hear it or the guy asking the question mispronounced it. That is why Trump said, "Who?" The guy repeated it and Trump said, "Oh," as if it was the dumbest question in the world (which it was). He deferred the question, probably to give others some time to speak.

He’s as dumb as a bag of hammers. Doesn’t know what habeas corpus is. Had no idea what countries are where in the Middle East

Clearly not driving policy

One wonders who actually is

If this is true, how is it any different than Biden’s administration? Clearly Biden himself was not driving policy. Any idiot could see that.
