Interesting back and forth between Judge Cannon and prosecution and defense. Earlier segments in paragraph form. Cannon has lots of questions.

The Robert Hur report is raising many questions regarding past presidents and possession of classified documents.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon suggests motion to dismiss Trump documents indictment 'premature'

An uncertain trial date

The trial itself is currently scheduled to start in mid-May, but earlier this month Judge Cannon held a hearing to hear arguments over moving the trial to a new, later date. Smith's team proposed July 8 as a new date, while Trump's lawyers argued that the trial should take place after the 2024 presidential election.

Cannon did not issue any rulings or make any formal scheduling changes regarding the trial's start date, which is still scheduled for May 20.

"A lot of work needs to be done in the pretrial phase of this case," the judge said.

Trump wants all the trials pushed back till after the election.

I give it a 50/50 chance Trump wins in Nov.

Lets say he does not win, he would be wise to flee the country to a safe haven.

Why did he wait something like 62 days to go public that he, too had classified doc's in his possession.....illegally.

was he hiding them from the DOJ or just the public?

If it is the former then he should 100% be changed the day he leaves office.

If it is the latter, there is nothing illegal about it and he was clearly hoping to hide it from the public.

He didn't fess up to the public that he, too was in the same boat as Trump...............for some 62 days.

He was no in the same boat as Trump as he did not lie to the DOJ about them and he did not attempt to keep them all even after telling the DOJ he had given them back. He did not have his employees putting them on planes and flying them around the country to hide them.

LOL.,...Trump acknowledged possession of documents, even let FBI in to view them, more than once.

Biden had his doc's moved all over the place....so what's your point?
