BRAVO ZULU bro

So every 20-years or so these guys have a pandemic to analyze and resolve??
Why is the US is doing 15x better than the EU? How many pandemic teams do they have?
Because the EU is testing more of its residents than the US.

Chart Shows How Far Behind The US Is Falling When It Comes to Coronavirus Testing

"As of Sunday, 1,707 Americans had been tested for the novel coronavirus, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.

"South Korea, by contrast, has tested more than 189,000 people.

"The two countries announced their first coronavirus cases on the same day."
Georgie!!! You’re old? You scared? Israel has the vaccine but since you’re a Jew hating asshole you don’t get the benefit of it.

Will the heroic Jews of Israel use their vaccine to acquire beach-front property in Gaza, Golda?

Up to them. But you definitely won’t benefit

LMAO...still living off memes? You’re such a loser. I am Israeli Cool..see if you can figure that out.

This is not going well. The country is shutting down. It's gonna be a big recession. Trump already had us at trillion dollar deficits. We should have been prepared with tests, we weren't.

It was certainly very prudent for Trump to take early action to prevent more people infected with the Chinese SARS-2 virus from traveling to America.

If Obama would have taken similar bold leadership action to mitigate the Mexican flu pandemic, thousands of American lives would have been saved.
Obama did a superior job and this pandemic has not ended so lets not give trump credit for unfinished work. You guys did that with N. Korea and that didn't turn out so well.

Actually it was a Democrat, Harry Truman, who sent black slaves to North Korea to be used as cannon fodder.

As usual, a Republican president (Eisenhower) emancipated those slaves.

Your ignorance of history is pathetic.

Yes the sky is falling in your minds but you douche bags are only going to be able keep this up for about 3 weeks, and The President will come out of this looking like a champ and The Commander in Chief!

Europe has 15 times more cases, and what we have here in The US is mostly from people coming here from Italy and China.

We’ll be just fine, and since this is your last Hail Mary, don’t even bother voting. It’s a waste of your time.

4 More Years.

So could you name at least a few people who you think should have been tested that were not tested and explain why those particular individuals should have been tested at the time?

Or are you just another full of shit TDS afflicted moron committing a Monday Morning Quarterbacking fallacy?

THINK!

And don't forget that he fired the Pandemic Response Team in 2018.

If you add the number of infections for the EU countries and compare that to the US, the EU has about 15x more infections than the US for similar populations. That is because Trump stopped the flights from China as soon as he learned about the potential pandemic. Trump did his job. Now the healthcare professionals in government need to do theirs.

The number of your cases is so low because you haven't tested anywhere near the number of people suspected of having the virus, and because it's just getting started. The USA is where China was at in early December, except in China, the epidemic was more localized. In the USA, where the population is more mobile, the virus has quickly spread throughout the country.

Trump didn't ban travel from China until February 4th, and by then it was too late. The virus was already loose in the USA. But what the ban did do, was to give the appearance of doing something, and then Trump ignored the whole thing for another 3 weeks.

One has to wonder if Trump has deliberately botched getting the tests out because he's trying to keep the numbers low. He sure doesn't want to see those numbers going up and if you can't test, you can't confirm.

Infections? You mean confirmed infections.
More tests = higher confirmed cases.

:cuckoo:

So when did you first come down with a such bad case of COVID-19 that you feel your president did not protect you to the best of any president's power to protect you from the nasty sharp pointy toothed TDS induced meltdown China Syndrome SARS-2 Craving TP virus?

How are you doing now? Are you getting better? Do you think you might pull through?

Shall we contact your next of kin now sir?

1. By the end of this week with the use of automatic testing from Roche and Thermo-Fisher the US will be current with all testing needs. We'll see how much the US was behind in testing, if at all. I couldn't find where there was a significant shortage of tests.

2. The virus spread worldwide from China. The EU has about 15x more cases than the US comparing similar sized populations. That has to be because Trump stopped the flights from China. Possibly combined with more travelers to the EU than to the US before the flight bans. Or, maybe the EU population is more densely populated than the US?

3. Trump has nothing to do with the lab tests, those are managed by the CDC and FDA. You know "career professionals".

4. There is no advantage to hiding the number of infections. This infection will go on for months.

5. These discussions will be resolved when the virus numbers are plotted over the next 2-3 weeks and we see what the actual bell curves look like. Will the curves be flatter and not overwhelm the hospitals, or will the virus explode and create a real healthcare mess? We'll find out which countries did well and which were messes.

6. Just saying that right now the numbers look like Trump did just fine to keep the US from leading the pack in infections. If he finishes the race in first place remains to be seen. Don't look at the number of cases, look at the right column based on population. Or combine the EU country numbers.

Your umpteenth post of the same chart doesn't make it any less invalid. You have no numbers on the number of people tested. But that's been pointed out to you multiple times. Sorry, it won't change the reality that Trump not only fumbled the ball, but ran smack into the center's ass while proclaiming that his execution was beautiful.

Bottom line, weeks of the Donald handling this outbreak like a campaign speech, the chickens have finally come home to roost. He's largely been sidelined..and it's about time.

1. The chart numbers change daily, so it is a current chart. You have no way of knowing how many tests that the US was short, if any. Further, the "hit rate" for COVID-19 tests are about 3%-4%. There are many other diseases that present symptoms like COVID-19. This week automated tests are being rolled-out so by the end of the week you won't be able to use the excuse that "we didn't test enough, so your numbers are low".

2. The numbers do tell the tale. So even your TDS will have to accept that the US bell curve is better than most. Or I will say that the US did poorly, based on the bell curve in about 2-weeks. When will the number of infections be at the max in the US? We'll see.

3. Trump is letting Pence, who was a governor do his thing. Trump knows Mike knows how to handle emergencies. What chickens have come home to roost? The US is still doing okay based on the numbers. Stop rooting for the virus, if you saw any of the debate last night, they both looked like they should be in a home somewhere and not on a debate stage.

You have no idea of the extent of the problem because you havent been testing people. Trumps attempt to manage the markets has made things worse.

You keep repeating the same lie. But its still a lie.
Show me proof that anyone that was prescribed a test didn't have one. You can't.
The chart shows that early on the CDC did the testing but didn't have the capacity for COVID-19. That was non one's fault, COVID-19 was a very fast spreading virus. More testing capacity needed to be added and it was. Currently there is way more testing capacity than is needed so not only prescribed tests, but drive thru tests are available. The "hit rate" on COVID-19 is only about 1%, most of the sick being tested are colds and regular flu, not COVID-19.
Very little of this is true.

Wey has several months warning. The lack of available testing is due to inaction. Testing is being rationed and ordered tests are being collected but not run as it has tasked up to a week to process the new due to backlog. There is no over abundance of testing capacity. Our turnaround time has gone from 24 hours to over 72 hours. That’s a bigger deal than it seems since we are wasting supplies and capacitor to isolate cases far longer than necessary.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

And before you ask, this is all first hand knowledge.

Do you have anything else besides Trump Defense Syndrome?

1) Should have happened three weeks ago. Trump denied, put off, shouted down, and fucked up. Period.
2) Post the current numbers of people tested or stop posting the stupid chart.
3) Sure, after the disaster of last Wednesday night he probably got told to step aside and let the adults handle it. But the same Mike Pence who completely botched the needle sharing/HIV crisis while he was governor? Good thing the real experts are standing around Mr VP, I Won't Let My Wife Into An Elevator With A Man That Isn't ME. My guess is he'd be trying to pray it away.

Stop defending the indefensible. Honestly, it's bordering on embarrassing. Biden, Sanders, Hillary Clinton, hell even Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Grassley would have done a better job than Trump managing this crisis. They at least know how government is supposed to work. Unlike the carnival barker in chief.

Two words....population density.

China...373 per sq mile
Italy...518 per sq mile
Spain...241 per sq mile
Germany...603 per sq mile
France...319 per sq mile
Switzerland...539 per sq mile
US...87 per sq mile

When someone is able to explain why countries all over the world were and are able to test for this pandemic disease for weeks while America stood impotent, and how it was and is not the fault of America's President without making lame excuses for him we can't move on. Until then we will continue to be divided and in a dysfunctional chaotic state of federal protection from the coronavirus diseases and dependent on Governor's.and legislatures for repairing the damage done by our incompetent President.
