(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump ordered a “blackout” for federal health agencies, which bans them from publishing external communication, but this cut-off could leave health care professionals and the public unable to appropriately respond to the increasing spread of bird flu.
The virus has been rapidly spreading among birds, wreaking havoc on the poultry industry. A strain has begun circulating among livestock as well.
Under Trump’s order, agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institute for Health and the Department of Health and Human Services will not be allowed to publish scientific reports, issue health advisories or update their websites.

I usually don't respect those who dishonestly characterize what Trump actually said about disinfectant.
Or who are as dishonest as you just were about the HHS secretary.
Or thinking Trump was wrong to think it possible the virus could fizzle out in a relatively short time out as so many of viruses that crop up do, but who dug us in for the long haul and looked for every possible way to deal with the problem.

I was very careful in my characterization which is perfectly accurate. This is far more generous to him than he deserves, given how badly he lies about other people.
Not at all. His crazy book is absolutely crazy shit. He devotes large sections to talking about fringe beliefs that HIV isn’t causative of AIDS and that antiretrovirals aren’t treating anything. The kind of misinformation he peddles can and does get people killed, including helpless children.
It was magical thinking, the kind he often engages in. Amazing you stick up for him despite being so incredibly wrong. Like, it’d be hard to be more wrong about COVID.

Why does the US spend massive and massive about of money on cancer research compared to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China and Taiwan?
